The Fender CD-60 sce is a quality guitar for the money. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate player the guitar seems to be built to last. The solid spruce top and the internal build of the guitar creates a good sound that allows the treble tones to ring out, as well as keep the mellow low tones of a Fender guitar. This is a great guitar as swapped from playing right hand to left hand in 2009, found it very hard finding a suitable left handed guitar this is the fifth left handed guitar I brought. I first brought a Westfield Jumbo a nice guitar but it didn't feel right, second was a Benson electro/acoustic and was great for a few months, but the bridge came unstuck so not very good. then Brought two from Lindo nice guitar the infinity lovely sound but didn't feel right, the alien felt right but didn't sound okay. So this was my fifth attempt to get a suitable left handed guitar and finally I found it with this, lovely sound and feels great so yes a great guitar worth every penny.

Bought for Wife - kept if for Me

Overall:The wife wanted to learn to play she had a $30 guitar, so I bought her the Fender. She loves it. I decided to get back into playing after 50 years, went out and bought a TeleCaster MIM, Ibanez RG421. Thing is I keep playing the CD60-SCE, The neck is comfortable the clean tones and sounds it makes are what I want to hear. It don't hurt that it is a beautiful guitar. Plugged into a 40 Watt RMS Acoustic amp, with a little Chorus, awesome. Its my favorite and I play it till my fingers hurt, love it. No problems in 5 months, I did put XL strings on it, I asked my guitar guy to set it up, he said he could raise the action if I wanted but he thought it was perfect. zZounds delivered it in two days.

Great value, sounds fantastic

I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this guitar was. I bought it sight unseen, though I tried the 6 string model. The tone is rich and full. The fingerboard is just the right size for me and easy to play. The electronics are Fishman and sounds great. I really appreciate that Eric ( the repair guru) went over it before I took possession and signed off on the setup. Talk about the extra mile!

I bought for 40% less, but still haven't decided to like

5 years playing, 5th acoustic I've tried, sounds a bit thin, but I have 10's on it right now. I will change to 12's soon; originals were corroding. Nice finish, sounds nice on amp, frets are a bit short and narrow, and plastic nut, saddle and bridge pins are disappointment. Try it before you buy it. I expect it will sound better with 12's and bone nut.

My favorite in the studio

I had bought it few years ago because I found it selling cheap in a clearance sale. Never thought I would fall in love with the all organic beautiful tone.Sound: Very organic, smooth and crisp with thick gauge strings. I usually mic it in studio but the Fishman pickups are also great.Make & Durability: The tuners might need replacement if you're an active acoustic gigging musician. It loses tuning with aggressive bending 5-6 songs later. There are many good tuners available out there. The body sits perfectly and the wood gives a great tone.My Impression: I liked that it has tuner bypass in the electronics. I can easily change tunings without being amplified on stage. Overall - A must have for anyone in studio/ live looking for a guitar below Rs 20,000.

Nice guitar

I'm a novice player at best. I've owned 2 hand me down acoustics guitars. This is my first brand new one. That I purchased for myself.I gotta say, at first I was NOT impressed right out of the box.But once I adjusted the truss rod. WOW!!A really nice sound. Great feel.The neck on my hand me downs were a little wider, so it took me a little bit to get used to this one.I've only owned it for a week.I'm very happy with this purchase.I'd recommend this guitar for someone just learning because once it's adjusted, it plays easy. I'd also recommend for the novice like myself. It has a great feel and sound.

The exact combination of tone & versatiliy I was seeking

I started learning electric guitar about 3 years ago, and have improved a lot with persistent practice. When I decided it was time to buy an acoustic, all the experienced players I talked to said 'get a Yamaha.' So, I did my research, did some play tests, and ended up with a Yamaha FG830. Now, this was a fantastic sounding guitar, just beautiful... but... a little ringy, and boomy on the lower end for me. I guess this is something the really experienced players like? Not sure. When I picked up this Fender cutaway, Whoa! Now that's what I'm talk'in about! I loved it so much... very rich, full tone, which can be mellow when it needs to be. Just the right amount of sustain. This is one beautiful guitar!

We ordered this as a gift for our son who plays on a church worship team, and had it delivered to our local Sam Ash store. They helped make some quick and easy adjustments to the neck for the strings to sit/play right, which I understand is very common on a new guitar, and also gave some good advice. Our son had a Fender of lesser value for more than 15 years previously, so we trusted the Fender name, and the reviews we saw online. We ordered the natural finish, and it is one beautiful guitar. It has an onboard Fishman tuner/pickup, which looks solid and has good reviews. I think it's a great guitar, especially for the price.
