I won't be using any other foundation after trying Fenty. It blends matches my skin tone so well without having to mix more than one shade! With other foundation brands I usually have to mix 2 different shades to get close to my actual skin tone. With Fenty it's accurate with just 1 shade. Even greater is that there are at least 2 shades by Fenty I can use: 300 for the fall/winter seasons when I am more pale and 310 for the spring and summer seasons when I'm am more tanned. Either one though will blend really well into my skin tone at anytime however if I don't have access to the other shade for the season. Another great perk to recognize about this foundation is that the bottle is recyclable! I like products that promote at least trying to make the earth a cleaner and better planet. I tested this foundation while having it on for a typical 8 hour day being out doing errands and it stayed matte, with some slight creasing by the end of the night but nothing too noticeable. This is a great foundation when taking pictures, but it’s important to remember that at the end of the day, makeup lays on top of skcgjkkin so there will be texture. However, if you are able to take care of your skin and put skincare first before makeup you can have a decently smooth surface to put on makeup smoothly, but what is good about this foundation is that the skincare aspect has been taken into consideration. This foundation has been great during the winter time and it’ll probably be even better during the summer with the sweatproof and waterproof formula. I had a great experience with this foundation and I typically only use concealer because foundation is another layer I don’t want to add to my makeup routine, but I’ll give this product the exception. A lot of aspects of this is product is positive and truly the few downsides of this product is it’s pricey and if you tend to be oily you still may need to powder your face if you plan to have a night out of fun. Best color match of my life, worst acne of my life

I used this foundation for years, and I loved that I was able to find a neutral medium shade that didn't look orange or pink on me, so much that I didn't want to use any other foundation ever again. Unfortunately it started to cause me to break out a lot, and it took a while to figure out that it was this product causing the problems because it didn't get bad right away. It started as a pimple here and there (after never having acne), but as my skin started to get worse I started using more foundation and wearing it more often, so it snowballed. Bought for a Friend

This was for a friend who is obsessed with this product, I normally just use under eye concealer for my eyes and also to hide imperfections and then a powder compact foundation over that because I never cared for how the liquid form appears on my skin especially combined with powder on top. It either looks too heavy and caky or doesn't cover enough. I have a nice smooth complexion that can get a bit dry but with no large pores just a few small ones on my nose, no blemishes or redness / discoloration so I don't need heavy coverage. However I do have a few facial scars left over from a car accident, hence the concealer for spot coverage and of course under my eyes. Anyway, I recently bought the Fenty Killawatt highlighter in Whatabrat and love love love it so I was curious what a $38.00 foundation was like so my friend let me try his and all I can say is WOWSA! The formula is not thick at all, the coverage is light but hides all my imperfections and lessened the look of my scars a LOT! I only need a tiny amount of my concealer, much less than usual (Clinique Line Smoothing is the best!) to make them completely unnoticeable and the effect is so much softer! I used a finishing powder (Stila In The Buff Powder Spray in this case just because I had some to try a while ago and never used it but use what you like) and then an illuminating setting spray for the final touch (Sheer Envy Glow is good but again use what you like). A bit of my Clinique Powder Pop Highlighter in Lunar Pop on my cheekbones, nose, chin and cupid's bow, and corners of my eyes to add some real glow and voila! Perfection! If like me you've never been a fan of liquid foundation try this one! And if you've always been on the team then you should definitely add this to your repertoire! It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way and it's worth it, I wouldn't use it just to run around doing errands but I now consider it essential to keep in my makeup drawer for those occasions when I want to go beyond my every day routine.

I’ve been using this foundation for a few months and have come to the conclusion that you need to be sending prayers and casting spells to make it consistently work for you. Even after using this multiple times per week I still have days where I struggle to make it look nice and even.It digs DEEP in your pores. Makes the area between my under eye and the sides of my nose look CRAZY with bright white spots if my skin isn’t perfectly hydrated and heavily primed.Good luck if you think you can blend it out at this point. Doesn’t work well with my skin type

However, my skin is combination (dry in places and oily), I purchased Fenty’s soft matte primer and the two together don’t work well with my skin. It’s very drying so makes any slight dry area really stand out, it dries so quickly on the skin that it’s hard to spread/blend. I have tried applying it with their foundation brush, a damp sponge and my fingers and it just dries far too quickly. I found it also sits in any pores making them stand out more. I was drawn to trying this foundation because of its shade range, as I'm multiracial and find it tricky to get a foundation that's got the right shade for my skin.The sample I took home was a 280N. I went back to Sephora to try a different shade, 290 and found that this shade was just a wee bit too dark. Shade 280N was a better colour match, but initially sampling it on my skin, I wasn't too sure. I still really like Too Faced Born This Way, but don't find it as buildable as Fenty's Pro Filt'r for those date nights you want more coverage from. All in all, fantastic product, non comedogenic (minus the talc component) and super lightweight that it doesn't feel like you've got any on.
