Great quality and fairly straight forward install. Would 100% reccomend having help to install this product. Does require drilling into the outter housing of the awning, but seamlessly connects to the standard roof rack. Easy up and down with extra mounts to attach the legs to the van body if desired.

This product arrived quickly after it was ordered. Within 3 days. Fairly easy for my husband to install. We filled in the gap between the awning and our Jayco Eagle as was suggested and no problems there. We are out using it for the first time this week. Went up like a breeze. We also purchased the tie down straps and anti flap kit that go with the awning and feel we now have a very sturdy addition to our van. Would highly recommend.

A compact cassette easy to mount and reliable long usage if cared after it apropriate. Our first Fiamma F45s Awning lasted 5 years using it almost every day and in many extreme weather conditions. The biggest enemy is probabely the strong wind and the wosps which always find a hideway in the frame for nesting. I like the quick setup and packup. If cared after it properly, it will serve for a long time.

Have bought 2 of these now. One for my caravan and one for our work van. Both excellent products. Build quality and mechanism are faultless, and have never failed. Have recommended these to others everywhere we go.
Pretty easy to install. Did it by myself although an additional person would have helped. You have to be pretty spot on with the mount locations to ensure a tight fit. Not a lot of wiggle room. I used the universal mount [Universal Roof Mounting Bracket (98655-316)] for a flat roof install. My biggest issue is with the factory placement of the bottom bracket holes on the universal mount. They are two far forward which can cause the mount to rock forward off the roof. I’ll put in some additional mounting screws to ensure a more secure fit.

I think this is one of the best and most user friendly awnings on the market, and I was happy to have choices in length to offer my client. They chose the 350 (11’6”) which fit nicely on their Ford Transit 148wb. The fact that you don’t have to climb all over your van just to deploy the awning is a HUGE plus for my clients, especially ones that don’t want or need ladders and large roof racks.
