I’m so happy I found fig. It has changed everything for me. I absolutely love what the cleanser and hydrating balancing toner have done. I’m still new to the retinol so I’m taking it slow. This is the first retinol of so many I’ve tried that is actually working! Always before I had so much peeling and flaking I was never able to wear make up - but this step 1 has been a great initial acclimation. I have had some acne- the retinol purge- but only a few and I just put acne patches on them and they clear right up. But I’ve seen smoother skin, smaller pores and overall improvement in skin texture and appearance. Love it and thank you for developing this great system,

I have sensitive, dry and cystic-acne prone skin. It sounds like exaggerating to say that this product was the most impactful in calming my cystic acne, but this is the only product that resulted in a 80-85% reduction in cystic acne. I started using it once per week for about a month, then every other day for a month, then 5-6 days a week with one or two rest days with only minimal dryness (i increased moisturizing barriers underneath every other day and this quickly resolved). I have also seen overall improved skin texture and fading of acne scarring. Definitely recommend!

I got this product in my beauty subscription box and I love it. It’s really my first time using retinol in a moisturizer, serums with it always made me break out so I stayed away from it. I’ve been using it all winter long and haven’t had any problems with my skin feeling dry (or breaking out like before). I did need to build up to an every night use but now I’m beginning to see lines soften on my face. It’s a great product. Time for step two.

I haven't been able to find a retinol that doesn't make my skin purge, but this one is so gentle. I have been experiencing congestion on my cheeks - pimples that just won't come to a head and aren't ready to be popped. Aha's didn't help so I tried this and it brought them to a head within a few uses and really helped heal and flatten them afterwards. I use this retinol every second night and on top of moisturiser. Loving the results so far. Everyone is complimenting me on how glowy my skin looks.

I have been using Fig. 1's Retinol Night Cream Level 1 for approximately 4 weeks. I love how gentle this product is, allowing me to use it nightly if needed. I haven't noticed a huge difference in my fine lines, however I have noticed a huge difference in the tone and overall appearance of my skin. My skin looks brighter, smoother, more moisturized and glowing. I just feel like it looks more youthful. I will take that any day! I also want to mention that the product goes on very nice and doesn't leave any sticky residue or leave my skin feeling oily.It absorbs well.
I love the packaging. The pump is perfect for retinol products, since they lose potency as air hits it. It pumps out the perfect amount for my face and neck. I would like it with a bit more retinol since I've been a user of retinol for years, but I understand it's a phase 1 product. I love that there's no scent. The texture is thick and creamy, and can feel greasy on skin, but absorbs nicely. I like this.
I really love the design of the packaging. I go through a lot of skincare and I love that while you step up to the next level of retinol, there isn't a lot of plastic being thrown away and I'm not spending money on a new container, just the refill. I have tragically dry skin and I thought the product was very hydrating, although there were some days I did need to add another moisturizer on top around my cheek and nose area. The retinol didn't bother me at all because my skin is already used to it. The only complaint I have is that you have to start with level 1 to get the bottle, and that is less retinol than I've been using for several years. I think you should be able to choose to start at whatever level you want.
I am 48 years old and recently lost about 50 pounds and suddenly I look so old! I purchase this product in hopes it would help my appearance (look younger or less aged). I’ve only been using it for a week and was worried I would react to the retinol as I have sensitive skin, but I am happy to report no reactions and very smooth, soft skin! I will continue with this product and build up to the level 3. They have other products to help and I highly recommend you check those out as well. You’re truly investing in your skin so you are going to spend a little money. It’s worth it.
