Had used mobile dongles and DAC / AMPs till now which always kept me worried about the battery status and using the right set of connecting wires. This model is the best seller at this site in its category and having used FiiO products before, it was an easy purchase decision. With regards to sound quality, I must say that I am fairly happy ( since I have not used any other competitive product in this category)

I recommend always going for the BT version as I think these things will last longer. Extra Bluetooth input gives way more flexibility to keep your laptop away from amp/dac.The volume knob works strangely. The first 40% increase feels little to no effect. However, it is a minor issue I can live with.

Thank you Headphonezone.m for another great product. The setup I am using- 7Hz Legato with iPad on a K7 Fiio.Great sound quality and clarity. The sound is more pleasant and textured. It was like turning on the HDR mode for music. πFinesse audio compared to iPhone dongle which was the best that I had, then again, k7 is 20 times more expensive.Good build and elegance.Another Mini UPS by Cuzor helps making the entire thing portable.The only difficulty I faced is that it is not working with iPhone 13. Itβs not showing when connected to iPhone 13. Trying to solve that, any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I came to know what was the difference between just being able to drive 300ohm loud or being able to give power to every frequency which in turn creates a very nice concert like soundstage. The headphones now even at 80% do not hurt my head but rather play each instruments very nicely .
Nice Dac & Amp. This drives beyerdynamic dt990 pro 250 ohms headphones amazingly. Heard many good things about Fiio k7 in many reviews and can feel it now with a smile on my face. Can feel the clear difference in the way I listen to music. Right now, I am a happy audiophile. Thanks headphone zone!!!
Tried them with Hifiman XS. They sound great. Overseas the bass a little without comprising with vocals and improves soundstage. The only thing that could have been better was if the volume knob was made of aluminum as well, though it's still tough.
The Fiio K7 BT is the solution I've been searching for a long time now. The inputs options being usb, coaxial, optical, RCS in and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth thing is what I was looking for due to the convenience and the practicality. I have used ifi Zen Dac V2 before and I was really satisfied with the Sonic performance of it. The main reason for me to change was the lack of input options as it was usb only. The sound from the Fiio K7 is very musical and the bass packs a punch. The AKM dacs and THX amps combination in balanced circuit is very appealing and this is what led me to choose this over the Topping DX3 Pro +. The bass really kicks and it filled the void that was missing from the Moondrop Blessing 3 with it's lower midrange scoop. FiiO K7 has opened up the soundstage of my aging Audio-Technica ATH-M50, Bose QuietComfort 25 and KZ-ZSN Pro X. I've started to hear hitherto unheard of elements in the very same music files of all genres and all qualities that I've been listening to for years. I'm more impressed with the mids and highs with the voices coming out more clear and rounded. The difference in bass is not all that pronounced but still the bass guitar riffs have become more prominent. I'm thinking in terms of getting a new pair of headphones of at least 250 Ohms impedance to realise the full potential of the device. I'm perfectly happy with the purchase.
Was owning the HiFi Man Sundara for a while now, had purchased it second hand while I was abroad, however was using just a USB dongle DAC which was not driving the headphone optimally. I was going through the Headphone Zone website and found the recommendations for this awesome Desktop Amp and DAC. Wow.. Wow. Just wow. This device is a great first step into audio for anyone looking to move beyond just plugging headphones directly into a computer. Being a combination DAC and AMP, it makes it easy, just plug it in and it works. It solved lots of the sound issues that my laptop previously had, and can drive my new headphones as well.
