As a refrigeration product it works magnificently (when the lights are on in Victoria). Storage is a different matter, lack of a dedicated shelf for ice making is a drawback. Similarly the door storage compartments look ample but we used to be able to store more in the door of our 519L upside down F&P. Otherwise, after just a month of use and becoming more conversant with it we're very happy - looks the business in our new home. Thank goodness we retained the old fridge and its handy to keep excess foodstuffs, booze and making ice.

Beast of a fridge. Huge freezer compartment as well with a couple of drawers. Everything is nicely laid out and not too deep that food gets lost at the back. Build quality is top notch, looks great, very quiet and relatively energy efficient for a French door layout. AO we’re great with delivery and had it installed in about 10mins. Recommended.

Very spacious fridge and freezer. We are a home of 5 adults and this size is perfect for us. There is lots of door space and shelf space, and the vegetable crisper works amazing! In the old fridge we had wed be lucky if a bunch of shallots didnt wilt after 24 hours, in the new fridge theyre still just as fresh and crispy 2 weeks later! Amazing! Drinks get cold in no time at all and the freezer freezes super fast. Making ice is a breeze by just filling the ice trays then emptying them into the ice drawer when done so ice is always on hand. Love this fridge! Really like the size of the fridge, so much room. I like the fact you can change the heights of the shelves easily . The door inserts are sturdy and hold heaps . Both doors open easily, perfect for large platters. The freezer is also great, love the pull out doors. All in all, a great purchase. And well priced!
I'm a bit disappointed. I thought I'd be getting an amazing fridge but this fridge is so loud! There's a constant knocking in it that's not anything we've put into it, and at night and early hrs it's incredibly annoying. I would have liked something less loud and annoying. The freezer is also not as nice to use as one ontop. I have to 'shove' my food in where I can't see what I have. Easy to get to if I want to bend down and rummage through it to find anything. So I gave it 3 stars. I'd have put alot more ground work in had I have known.
Loving the size of this new fridge. So much easier to see items in the doors and the shelves. More storage space with the drawers for the dairy products. I like the drawer in the freezer, so much easier to find those small frozen pieces that tend to get lost in amongst the large items.
We've had this for about one month now and love it. The fridge section is very large and we love having 4 bins at the bottom for fruits, veggies, cheese etc. The freezer section is pretty small however, but we knew that before buying and don't use the freezer too much anyways. My only 2 complaints are that it doesn't come with a fitted egg tray and you can't seem to buy one specifically to fit this model (not a big deal though). The other annoyance is that the bins at the bottom in the fridge section are joined, so you have to open both doors in order to access the fruits/veggie bins - again, a pretty minor annoyance, but something to be aware of. I Googled this and it seems to be 'normal' for this type of fridge. The fridge is used by me, my husband and our son, so only a small family. However on a daily basis I wipe fingerprints and similar smudges off the front of the fridge. Our previous fridge was stainless steel with a finish that didn't show marks easily. I wish our new fridge was also this way. As others reviewers noted, it can be a nuisance having to open both doors to access the drawers. I chose this refrigerator because of it's layout and design and couldn't be happier. The shelves in the main compartment and the door are quite configurable, there is a separate deli drawer and the vegie compartments can be easily lifted out for cleaning. Having an additional drawer in the freezer section means you can find things without having to dig through layers of frozen items. The fridge has a 'sturdy' feeling in relation to it's manufacture without sacrificing the aesthetics of the product.
Good fridge. Ample room. Well built. A few annoying things I've noticed are freezer shelf doesn't pull out much when opening draw. Bottom 2 shelves aren't split so have to have both doors open to access bins. Guess I'll get used to it as haven't had French door style before. Compressor is reasonably quiet. Well lit inside.
