Ok so its really hard to find non-promoted reviews of induction cooktops, so I bought this one on a whim. Its pretty good. The touch controls are easy to use and you dont have to memorise a bunch of weird symbols. Our friends who had a Bosch one said ours was better.Bad things there is a buzzing sound as expected with induction. It is not loud. There is also a fan on the bottom which runs whenever the cooktop is on. Also not that loud. Neither of these things are louder than the range hood fan or a normal oven fan, which will often be on at the same time as the cooktop so who cares.I recommend this product without having much experience with it or with any other induction cooktops. 3 months since purchasing and couldn't be happier, simple to use, fast to heat up and easy to clean. Love the evenly portioned square element design (and that you can use 2 quarters at once) vs the previous circle design we had as now we can use any size pot or pan. The actual cooktop itself doesnt get hot which is a safety plus with the kids, just have to be careful not to accidently place a po lid or something similar on the element surface while it's on. Like a previous reviewer said cheaper pots and pans might not be recognised by the cooktop (family brought over a pot to heat up but it didn't work) but wasn't an issue for the ones we have at home.

You only can use two zones at the same time. If you use more than two, it stop working well
Bought this 3 years ago. Had problems since we bought it. Fisher & Paykel repaired for free under warranty which was great! Yesterday got a big bang and a burning smell (which wasn't our dinner). So disappointed it's died after only 3 years :( I expect a cooktop to last at least 7 years. Has been a great cooktop before this. Safe, efficient etc. Loved the timer function that turns off the correct section at the perfect time (great for boiling the perfect egg!) Also the safety lock is great! Just disappointed that it hasn't lasted that long
Perfect size for a kitchen update, powerful with enough space for multiple large frying pans at once. Easy clean and cools down quickly
It is hard to find reviews on the F&P induction cooktops. Consequently, I had planned to buy Bosch, but when they were backordered everywhere I decided to purchase the 24" F&P cooktop. I couldn't be more pleased with it! You can put the pan anywhere in the square and it heats evenly. Both sides can be used as bridge units, though I find it just as easy to control them individually. I frequently use a large griddle across two of the side elements and it heats very evenly. Temp control is amazing from super high to gentle melting. Add on top of these the benefits of induction--instant temp control, more efficient energy use and a cool, easy to clean glass top and I just can't understand why everyone isn't going induction. People spend big bucks for "commercial gas" ... MoreIt is hard to find reviews on the F&P induction cooktops. The cooktop looks great and works very efficiently, unfortunately with all of my pans there is a loud buzzing noise. This is not evident with the same pans on other makes of induction I have tried so the issue lies with this design of the hob. Having had the issue I have now taken my pans to the store in Queenstown and tried them on their 90cm version of this hob, same issue. I've no doubt it's a great hob but it is horrible to use because of the constant buzzing. If you are considering this hob then I suggest taking your pans to the store to make sure they do not have the same issue or that you can live with it. I've tried pans from Baccarat, Scanpan, Meyer and Tefel and they all have the same issue.
Great product easy to use, multi zone cooking surface means you can use big or little pots, pans and skillets with ease
The cooktop is very easy to use.I find it is much easier to clean than the one I had before. It is very fast to heat and brings to boil much quicker.
