Overall we are very happy with this product. I had three products finalized LG, Bosch and FisherPaykel. FisherPaykels control panel is really simple, there isnt thousands of other modes like others. It has 9 options which is more than enough for an average family of 2 kids 2 adults. Also it has standalone spin cycle, which LG and Bosch doesnt have. Eventhough maximum spin speed is 1200, it is good enough for us. I dont expect clothes to be super dry once washing is done, we are going to dry them anyway. Also you can pause the washing and add an item (but how often you will need this)It has Cold wash option and still you can finish the wash in 30 mins. Features very excellent. 9k size great for heavy large items. Quick wash 30 minutes, every day wash great and the machine runs quietly. My wash seems cleaner than my old one. Defiantly a 5 star product.

I am really happy with the number of settings - they give me exactly the choices I need - the smaller wash, the ability to add forgotten items even though I have started the program, the everyday wash etc and a great size for my needs - bigger than my previous machine but not too big for a family of 2. I wash fewer loads during the week but I don't have to wait to get a big enough load to use it economically. I was sorry to miss out on the store credit though - the communications re that offer needed to say in the very first wrods - download the App to gain this offer. I was deciding between Bosch, LG and F&P washing machines and had previously owned Bosch 7kg which lasted for 14yrs and then Beko 8kg which only lasted for 4 (control panel had to be replaced twice and door handle broke) but I wanted a slightly larger size so that I could wash a medium weight queen duvet. This machine has a great everyday wash which takes an hour (and washes up to 9kg load). The whites came out really white again after one 60 degree wash on everyday cycle (Darwin is tough on whites due to humidity) and the machine handles large throws and light quilts with ease. Baby sock did get stuck in rubber seal near door though but this has happened with all machines I have owned. My 17 year old Asko finally kicked the bucket and to be honest I didn't have a lot to spend on a new machine. I did extensive research and this machine came up with consistently good reviews, and the (discounted) price was right. I am so impressed with this machine. Being on the other side of the wall to my home office, noise is important, and I can tell you this is whisper quiet. It's super easy to use with intuitive wash options, nice big drum, and washes way better than the old asko - clothes are cleaner. No unbalanced issues, even with doonas or other bulky items. I like the pause function so I can add that extra sock in after the wash has started. This is a winner from me!
After being a devoted top loader user all my life, Im loving my new front loader! Its so easy to use the kids are doing their own washing without asking for help on water levels etc I love that I can still do a cold wash on every cycle (except the drum clean) and how much fresher and cleaner everything comes out.My favourite cycle is the quick, 30min wash! This gets used for most of our clothes. Even a cold wash leaves the clothes noticeably cleaner than my old top loader did!I can fit all of the dog bedding in and it comes out fresh after a delicate cycle, then I can do a drum clean to get rid of what dog hair is left in the machine. In short - Im loving it and will never go back to a top loader!!!!

We also found that the water outlet hose was stuck in place on the wrong side of the machine for our laundry setup, but this was easily altered by ourselves. It took about 30 minutes to set up and level, and we have not had to make any changes after the initial setup. Features we love This machine is amazingly quiet. The buttons are all very intuitive. I needed a new washer when my Samsung died after 10 good years of service. This machine is easy to use with simple settings, unlike other machines that have too many settings to choose from, half you'll never use. I particularly like how you can customise each cycle and it remembers so you don't have to change it every time. The cycles aren't ridiculously long like some other machines and the big 9kg drum is perfect for a family of 5. The quick 30 wash can do 4kg (a lot of other large machines can only do 2kg loads) which is my go-to wash along with the every day wash. It is soooo quiet!! I forget the machine is on until I pass the laundry! It's a great machine under $1,000 and does the job without all the fancy extra features you don't really need.
Installation by Good Guys was a breeze! I find the spin cycle is noisy so don't run washing when you want your littlies to be sleeping. I'm paranoid about the rubber seal getting mouldy so I wipe down the seal, inside and out, wipe down the glass door and leave it open and wipe down the soap dispenser and leave that open so that everything can air overnight. I have a laundry room where you can shut the door so I don't see all the doors of the machine open. I've been using Earth Choice laundry detergent and it's working just fine. I've been using the delicate and cold wash cycle, heavy with hot wash, and everyday with cold wash the most depending on what I'm washing. Replaced a 16 year old ASKO that died. The new machine is much quieter and washes well. So cheap to operate, Everday cycle used .568 kW of power with a 40c water temperature. The 30 minute cycle with 40c water uses between .455kW and .383kW . The Everday cycle with 30c water operated for 59 minutes and used .330 kW. As we pay 41.41cents per kW of power the wash cost 13.63cent- excellent! We love this machine and recommend it for a reasonable priced machine giving great results
