I have a too powerful whipper sniper ( caught my leg a couple of times) and as my yard isn’t that big decided to try this for my trimming.I like it however there are a couple of things I would change. First is the price! A little pricey.Next, as I read elsewhere, it gets a little heavy after about 15 min. Could be made lighter? And last, I wish it was able to adjust to the side, not just the angle up or down, so it would be 90 degrees to the handles. That way you could edge alot easier. Other than the above it works well.

The Fiskars PowerLever Grass Shears have done the job brilliantly, yes my lawn looks rather sculptural, but i am getting an upperbody workout, whilst enjoying the fresh air and doing my bit for the planet by saving on carbon emissions and i don't need someone to cut my lawn. The large blades are ferocious and efficient. Job done!

I Love this product - so much that this is my second pair. SO remember to keep your receipt as proof of purchase (maybe take a photo too) as this product has a Fiskars lifetime warranty. I can honestly say that we thrashed our first pair and yes eventually they broke, but it was many years and uses after our first purchase. These are not a cheap product but they are excellent value and really versatile. Much of my use was over rough ground taming a paddock, trimming around Harakeke/flax, along wire fencelines, a sloping swale and a tall hedge and on many different angles.

Not as strong as I thought! I wanted to cut ivy and it just isn't built for that. Seems great for grass, weeds, etc. - fine tuning. But not for anything much thicker than that. Quality build and nice adjustments, as per usual with Fiskars. Standing up to do ground-level work is really nice. I also have the "Fiskars Powergear 2 Hedge Shears, with 10" Blade"and they go through anything. You just have to be down on the ground with them to get the ivy. :)

These are awesome quality shears! The blade folds up nicely for easy storage. The handles make it comfortable for not killing your back! Just don’t use them to trim grass near your vinyl liner pool!!!!!)

With its tiltable head (it can be oriented and easily locked in a variety of angles) + ergonomic handles, this product has been really well conceived. I bought it for the benefits of the other gardeners at our community garden and it is particularly appreciated by older members. Its long yet very comfortable handles make it much easier for them to use it wihout habing to bend. Excellent product, well designed and sturdy!
I ended up returning these after 1 use. They were able to reach the areas for which they were intended, however I had to continuously tighten the nut that holds the arms together. It would loosen after 5 snips. The first time I noticed it had almost come fully apart.
I use these a lot to edge lawn along footpaths. Brilliant design concept with the adjustable angles. BUT, I have had to reinforce the plastic housing with steel band to prevent complete breakage of the mechanism due to perished housing from concrete abrasion. The design engineers are not thinking of long term use in this case.
