Fiskars Telescopic Hedge Shears

Received hedge shears a week ago giving me an opportunity to try them out. Having a Fiskars extendable lopper already I was happy to see these were of the same quality. They are about 2" larger than the old ones I've had for about 40 years. Everything works as described. I'm very happy with the quality of these and believe they will last many years. if there is a downside to these it is that they are a little heavy but not overly, and with the engineering of them requiring less muscle action to use it also means they don't open nearly as wide as I would have hoped. Still, all in all, very very happy with them

And as just hedge trimmers, the telescoping feature seems pointless and makes them awkward and too heavy to use. No-frills trimmers would be a better choice.Still searching for long-handled pruners.

Fiskars 25-30 inch extendable handle Hedge Shear

These were a little pricey but I needed something that would cut without having to use lots of strength behind it. They cut very nicely and the extra lenth was a much needed benefit. I think they are worth their cost. Fiskars is a dependable brand. I did not get paid in any way for this review. Just like to be of help to someone trying to make a decision.

Good choice

This is well made and nice. A little heavy because of the extension ability but nothing a man would find difficult. A 70 year old woman might fine it building a little muscle. But thumbs up on everything.

Good for hedges

They are pretty good quality and cut fairly thick branches and can cut fine grass. So for hedges they seem to be a good tool. No complaints.

Handy and easy to use Hedge Shear.

The Fiskars 25-33 Inch Power-Lever Extendable Hedge Shear is a very nice additional to omy lawn and garden tools. The blade is sharp and manipulating the handles in and out to cut is easy and effortless. The ability to extend the handles to reach farther into an area is an added bonus.If a reasonably priced Hedge Sear is needed I suggest this product will work nicely.

Hedge Shears

These Hedge sheers are great. Just what we needed. Works great on cutting down the tall decorative grasses. Makes yard work quick and easy.

Recommend

Great product! Love the length of the shears and the strong and steady handles. I had previous shears that were able to be extended, but they would never stay in place, which made trimming difficult. The only downside is that I forgot these shears outside and they did begin to rust, but completely my fault.

Short handles, poor cutting blades

These shears need a longer handle and better blades. We currently have similar style shears of 3 different brands and all 3 are more satisfactory than the Fiskars. We expected much better shears from such a well known brand.

cuts anything from wet grass to small branches

these clippers are perfect for heavier clipping of hedges and brush. they are heavy, but will cut even small branches as well the delicate and thin. quality metal. extending handles very useful.
