I use the Fitbit app on my phone and have the aria scale to accompany my daily life. The scale go through 3 AAA batteries in about two months of daily use. I use my scale daily but not always Bluetooth. The scale is accurate enough to measure up to the doctor's office scales. I was very excited to get the same results for my weigh in at the doctor's office. I would recommend this scale to Fitbit users and for those who are looking for a nice digital scale. You don't have to use Bluetooth on your phone to use the scale. It's pretty simple.

If youre the sole user of this product, then setup is simple. As soon as you have to add additional household members, things get weird. The primary/initial user has to send invites to each individual via the fitbit app. Sometimes even after accepting the invite, the new user gets an error. I had to reset the whole thing once and try again just to get my wifes fitbit working.

I had a previous Fitbit Aria scale (different version than this one) that finally failed on me after many years, so I needed a new scale. I was bummed to see that Fitbit no longer offers the previous version because I liked the feature which measured body fat % (this new scale does not do that). This new scale isn't bad. Great affordable price & beautiful white color. Scale instructions are very user friendly, making setup simple. Please note it works instantly when used on floor. I liked how it immediately recorded my weight in my FitBit app which I have been using for Inspire 2 for over 2 years. It is extremely accurate since it confirms my BMI which was consistent with results from my last physical. The only con of this product is its usage of batteries otherwise I consider this FitBit scale to be perfect for anyone who is seriously committed to monitoring their weight within a comprehensive health perspective that is provided in the FitBit app.
Scale is sleek looking, low profile, and appears to be accurate (using medical scale to compare to). It "wakes" quickly upon stepping onto it and gives a reading within a matter of milliseconds. Upon first pairing the scale, it connected to the fitbit app with no problem. Second, third, and fourth times using the scale over a course of 2 weeks, the bluetooth failed to pair to phone. After 2 weeks, with no real explanation, the bluetooth has functioned properly. According to reviews this lack of bluetooth connectivity is a known problem with this scale. As of right now, it is connecting as it is supposed to and logging my weigh ins on my Fitbit app. Time will tell if the connectivity issues return.
I loved my Aria but I am unable to connect this dinosaur to my new internet. Thought this was going to be an upgrade from that ... Aria Air is a downgrade. I now have to have my phone with me to attempt to upload my weight. (The Aria just uploaded my weight automatically without having to have my phone with me and the Fitbit app open). Most of the time, the weight won't load so I end up manually inputting it anyway. I cannot get a consistent weight. I can step on this scale 10 times and get different results every time. It's only been 3 days and I am ready to return it. Fitbit (or now Google) .... please come out with an upgrade from the Aria or go back to the basics... that is a great scale!
I purchased this product to replace an Aria that died after more than 5 years. I found the old product to be superior in many ways to this one. The original Aria was internet connected. This one works from Bluetooth and I need to have my phone on and open to my Fitbit app to log results. This is not my normal MO. Also, the original Aria computed my BMI via some kind of electro process. This one does not - it computes based on inputs - height and weight. So it's not as accurate. And, you must find the correct sync to get BMI. This took me a while to find and many people telling me it doesn't compute BMI. Overall, the product works fine but it's not an improvement over the original.
This is a great scale that has great aesthetics and can be left out in the bathroom without looking like junk. The scale is very accurate and produces the same results in various positions in areas of the bathroom. It's important to note that the top of the scale is glass, so you should handle with care. Syncing with a Fitbit app also works well, although it does take roughly 30 seconds. It is nice to be able to trend your weight over time in the app.
Does NOT do bodyfat percentage. Never even occured to me they would take that feature out. it was the whole reason I bought the scale. All this is is a digital scale that will preload your weight into the fitbit app IF YOU HAVE THE APP OPEN. So it's not like you can weigh yourself and just know the data is logged. Total waste of money. By the time you get your phone, unlock it, open the app, set your phone down so you dont weigh the phone, what is even the point. Save your money. This is an aggregious waste of time and money. The scale doesn't even read the same twice in a row. It's just all bad and no good.

Placed my phone literally on the floor next to it and nothing. Closed the app, opened it again, nothing. So I manually input my weight and went about my day. Two days later still having the same problem except suddenly, my weigh in shows up on the app, except it's not the weight showing on the scale, but the weigh in from the previous morning. As far as scale capabilities, it does its job, it's pretty sensitive which I like because it shows changes down to the decimal.
