One of the key benefits of the Fitbit Inspire 3 is its ability to track steps taken and distance traveled. This can be a great way to monitor your daily activity and make sure you are getting enough exercise. By setting a daily step goal, you can easily track your progress and see how close you are to reach your target. The device also has the ability to track other forms of exercise, such as running or cycling, and can provide detailed information about your workout, including distance, duration and calories burned. The Fitbit Inspire 3 is also able to track sleep patterns. The device can monitor your movements during the night and provide detailed information about your sleep, including how long you slept, the quality of your sleep and even your sleep stages (light, deep, REM). This information can be incredibly valuable for people who are trying to improve their sleep habits or for those who have trouble sleeping.

A make sense tracker...

I have had my Fitbit Inspire 3 tracker for about a month. It replaced an older Fitbit Inspire. I have appreciated the added bells and whistles that this model offers. I mainly track my steps and walking miles as well as sleep status. The added tracking of heart rate, oxygen levels, breathing etc is very helpful and just enough for me so that the Premium subscription is not needed. It does a good job of notifying me of messages as well and is very easy to use. This model is a "make sense tracker" and has just enough information to help me but not too much to complicate life. I just love it!

My very first time using a ‘Fitbit’ and a smart fitness tracker in general and I absolutely LOVE it! It was very easy to set up, it’s easy to use, and I love all of the different features that it has! I can track my sleep in detail now, check the time and date, view my important phone notifications and set alarms and timers all with a few taps to my wrist! I also love the band’s colour and appreciate that it came in 2 different sizes! As well the price can’t be beat for all that it can do! I pretty much wear it constantly (except when I bathe) and kind of feel lost without it… Definitely recommend as a great smart fitness tracker/watch!

I love my new Fitbit inspire 3! I have only had one activity tracker before this and it was not a fitbit so the upgrade was totally worth it. Its lightweight and I even wear it to bed without notice. It tracks everything from steps to your heart rate to your sleep patterns. I wore it for over a week before it got under 15% and it reminded me to charge it. You also get the fitbit premium service for free for the first 6 months of ownership to try all of the extra features that a Fitbit has to offer. I am not a person who works out or goes to the gym but it has motivated me to try and do little things to keep me healthy and active. I'm sure if you look and wait for a deal you can get this fabulous fitbit for a good deal! I highly recommend this Fitbit to anyone who wants a higher class activity tracker without wanting to pay hundreds of dollars for one. Check them out! They have lightweight bands of all colors and it also comes with one extra band! I got the lilac colored band and absolutely love my choice. Happy shopping!

Fitbit removing functionality
13 March 2023

As of March 27, 2023 Fitbit is removing functionality and features including open groups, adventures and challenges. There are many trackers and smartwatches available including Garmin, Galaxy and Apple that will provide health analytics and step counts. Google bought Fitbit and is now selling their Google Pixel smartwatch using the Fitbit platform. It appears fitbit will be phased out, especially when they are removing the distinguishing features of connectivity with friends and family through challenges. For those with premium memberships, bought specifically for the Bingo challenge, Fitbit is not providing refunds on the annual membership paid. Fitbit is not a good investment and I have buyers regret.

Great buy!

Alright bought two, one for me and one for my mom since we like to go on walks together and are constantly using our phones to compare steps. I'll start with the negative and then the positive(s). Negative that I feel like not enough reviews lifted up was that the calorie count is WAY OFF, as in it counted 1600 calories burned for me on my first day and let's just say I'm 7 mo pregnant and certainly did not burn that amount. I googled this and it seems to be a common and persistent issue for not just this version but Fitbit overall. So don't count on this to even give you a ballpark range, I know fitness trackers are not exact but this is extremely off so beware if that's your number one use. Then positives--steps are much better! So don't count on this to even give you a ballpark range, I know fitness trackers are not exact but this is extremely off so beware if that's your number one use. Then positives--steps are much better! Ease of use is pretty on par--for reference I'm 34 pretty tech-savy so it took me about two hours in-between other tasks throughout the day to get the settings just right, acclimated to the interface, and understanding everything. I love that yiu can read texts and emails and even answer calls though obviously you have to have your phone there to do the actual talking/listening unless you already have headphones on. Sleep I've only tested for a day, so would say it tracked accurately how often I got up (did I mention I'm pregnant?) But I don't know about "awake" time. I certainly sleep deep so that seems skewed. It's also so light weight, which I love and I appreciate that you get one extra side of the band with the holes so you can elongate the watch should your wrist be larger than how it comes packaged. Overall, a wonderful starter watch with no frills so right for those who just want the points without being absolutely tied to every single app on their phone.

Great features
4 November 2022

I bought this a few days ago. Seems worth the money. Step counter is a bit off, and got a notification I had done a bike ride when I had been brushing my teeth…(maybe best used on non-dominant arm). Otherwise fab features, easy to use with the app, easy to record food intake, weight, steps, exercise etc. I selected the free trial of Fitbit premium straight away so not sure if free features are in depth enough. Was a bit of a faff to find how to set up whatsapp and emails to it (found help on the Fitbit community page). Good battery life and no issues with disconnecting/unpairing from phone so far. Quite happy with the product.

Inexpensive introdution to Health Trackers

After a price reduction by a third, the Inspire 3 was great value for money. The compact display can be swiped in multiple directions for many metrics and options. There is no noticeable drain on the phone's battery. I don't have an issue with the trackers battery life. Charging every day or two for fifteen minutes keeps it topped up.The auto-wake feature at end of sleep cycle closest to the morning alarm is useful.Quibbles with the app:The app displays many metrics' history in calendar weeks and months not the last 7 or 30 days. On Tuesday 3rd, there is one record in weekly view and two in the monthly view. As a far as I can see, no benefit to anyone.Except in Health Metrics, there doesn't seem to be ways of easily comparing current metrics with medium and long term trends in the phone app. When recording a cycle ride, the fitbit still counts steps. So after 3.5hrs on the road bike, the app loudly displays 21,000 steps on the top metric when in fact there were none - well possible a couple of dozen.Care is required to properly position correctly on wrist before exercise with an elasticated sleeve or compression band hold it in place. Slight detachment of the sensors from skin when wrists are tensed leads to erroneous HR readings.Overall though a great low cost introduction to smartwatches. Maybe I will upgrade next year or, its looking more likely, I'll consider this is more than sufficient.

Fits my largish wrist perfectly. Does everything I needed without extras I would never use. Monitors my sleep well, has oxygen and heart rate monitors. I’m not sure that the sleep scores reflect how well I slept. The overall sleep data however completes this area easily. Monitors my activity by counting steps and telling the period of time since last active, sometimes hours for me. Has multiple other functions as well and comes with a free 6 month subscription to premium. Just extra assessment of your data, helpful.I would recommend this FitBit tracker

I liked that this came with a purple band, I really didn’t want plain black. It’s decent at keeping track of my steps and workouts. It has a stop watch feature as well. I get notifications and can read incoming texts or see that I missed a call. It even pairs with my weight loss app and records my calories burned into that app. The thing that’s a real bummer is that it doesn’t accurately keep track of sleep or even work correctly in terms of the sleep feature. The first night I had it I was so excited to wake up and see my sleep and wake cycles, and even get a sleep score. As this is something I’m working on, the sleep feature is important to me. The first night I had it I was so excited to wake up and see my sleep and wake cycles, and even get a sleep score. As this is something I’m working on, the sleep feature is important to me. I did all the trouble shooting, looked online for solutions. There was one guy who said you need to sync the Fitbit about two hours before sleep and it will record cycles as intended. It actually worked the first night but the second night, back to not working right. After that it’s been hit or miss. Plus it’s a pain to remember to sync two hours before I go to sleep and half the time I don’t even know when that’s going to be. Anyways if you don’t care about sleep or having your actual steps or calories be off a little then you’ll love it, but don’t expect the sleep feature to work. Lots of others online complaining about this same thing and apple has no solution other than the generic troubleshooting which doesn’t work. Oh ya and tap the screen to turn on sometimes doesn’t work but raise to turn on depletes the battery so ya there’s that too.

You might want to get something else
9 November 2022

I drove out of my way to get this at Best Buy because I thought that the sales associates would know about the product. I was told that I would have to go to the Geek Squad, and they were booked up until the following day. I have had a lot of problems with this Fitbit. I don't know if I just got a "lemon", but the screen goes black when I am trying to scroll down, and between the clock screen and the heartrate screen, I often have to turn the display back on a dozen times. I contacted the Fitbit customer support. I don't think that "Alwyn" had a good grasp of English, but for whatever reason, he could not solve the problem. On the positive side, the battery stays charged a long time. I guess a black screen doesn't take much energy. The band is comfortable.
