Fitbit Inspire 3 Smartwatch Black

$120.99

(5,429 reviews)

Easily keep track of your health and movement with the Fitbit Inspire 3 Black. This activity tracker constantly measures your steps, burned calories, and heart rate. That way, you can check if you've moved enough every day at a glance. The Inspire 3 also keeps track of your stress level and sleep score, even though that's a bit less accurate than with watches like the Fitbit Versa and Sense. When you connect your Fitbit to your smartphone, you can keep record of your walked distance via the GPS of your smartphone. You can also view incoming messaged and notifications on your Fitbit. The battery lasts 10 days. If you work out a lot, the daily recovery score indicates if your body is ready to work out again, or if it needs more rest. You need a Fitbit Premium subscription for this. Note: you have to pay for this.

A great product, great quality and features

A requested present for my daughter, who's a bit of a gym bunny, and so far she loves it. Great quality, looks classy, ergonomic and with great functionality and features in the app which lives on her iPhone. We all know that iPhones have their own 'Health' app but the Fitbit app, using data from the Fitbit itself is (understandably) much more feature rich. As the man who pays the bills, I have a small concern about reliability of the Fitbit device itself based on comments from others, but time will tell, and there's the 2 year warranty from John Lewis which gives extra comfort. All told so far, great kit !

Even better than the Fitbit Inspire 2

I bought this fitness tracker to replace my Fitbit Inspire 2 which had stopped working a couple of days before the Inspire 3 was released. I only used the step count facility on my previous Fitbit trackers and wanted a wrist band size tracker rather than one with a full size watch face as I always wear a separate wrist watch. I did not think that the Inspire 2 could be improved on for my needs. How wrong I was! The much improved screen with its colour display has opened up a whole new set of facilities to me because I can now read the screen so much better than for the Inspire 2. It is well worth the extra money for the improved model.

This is a fantastic Fitbit and so easy to use. I primarily use it for counting my steps but there are lots of other useful features too. I really like the fact I can read my WhatsApp and text messages and can see my emails on it if I am within range without actually having to get my phone out of my bag or pocket. It is very quick to charge and the battery life is excellent. Very good value and great service from John Lewis. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Great Value for money
23 February 2023

The Inspire 3 has developed into a simple but effective device. It covers all the necessary functions for most people and the colour screen is generally clear. Battery life is good and it is simple to use when you get in tune with the small footprint. Can be used on its own or with a normal watch on the other arm.Seems accurate when tested against more expensive fitness products and any differences seem fairly minimal. Recommended at this price!

Great features
4 November 2022

I bought this a few days ago. Seems worth the money. Step counter is a bit off, and got a notification I had done a bike ride when I had been brushing my teeth…(maybe best used on non-dominant arm). Otherwise fab features, easy to use with the app, easy to record food intake, weight, steps, exercise etc. I selected the free trial of Fitbit premium straight away so not sure if free features are in depth enough. Was a bit of a faff to find how to set up whatsapp and emails to it (found help on the Fitbit community page). Good battery life and no issues with disconnecting/unpairing from phone so far. Quite happy with the product.

Great in bright sunshine
17 April 2023

I used to have a super cheap tracker. This one is so much better. Best thing is that you can actually read the face in bright sunshine. I don’t feel the need to pay for premium as the basic app has plenty enough functionality for my needs. You can add a decent number of different activities. It gives you a nudge every hour to make sure you have done 250 steps in that hour. That’s great when I am deep in office tasks and need a reminder to move.

Great little tracker at a good price
3 June 2023

This is my third Fitbit and the best one so far. Comfortable to wear and easy to use. I really like the relaxation breathing function on this one that my previous ones didn't have. It's also quick to charge and the battery has a really good life. I bought the yellow one which is not a colour I usually wear but I'm really enjoying seeing that little pop of colour!

Inexpensive introdution to Health Trackers

After a price reduction by a third, the Inspire 3 was great value for money. The compact display can be swiped in multiple directions for many metrics and options. There is no noticeable drain on the phone's battery. I don't have an issue with the trackers battery life. Charging every day or two for fifteen minutes keeps it topped up.The auto-wake feature at end of sleep cycle closest to the morning alarm is useful.Quibbles with the app:The app displays many metrics' history in calendar weeks and months not the last 7 or 30 days. On Tuesday 3rd, there is one record in weekly view and two in the monthly view. As a far as I can see, no benefit to anyone.Except in Health Metrics, there doesn't seem to be ways of easily comparing current metrics with medium and long term trends in the phone app. When recording a cycle ride, the fitbit still counts steps. So after 3.5hrs on the road bike, the app loudly displays 21,000 steps on the top metric when in fact there were none - well possible a couple of dozen.Care is required to properly position correctly on wrist before exercise with an elasticated sleeve or compression band hold it in place. Slight detachment of the sensors from skin when wrists are tensed leads to erroneous HR readings.Overall though a great low cost introduction to smartwatches. Maybe I will upgrade next year or, its looking more likely, I'll consider this is more than sufficient.

So good - I rarely take it off.
16 March 2023

This Fitbit has proved invaluable for registering my fitness levels in so many ways. It not only records the number of steps I take daily but also my heart rate. Additionally it reminds me to move at regular intervals and even records my sleeping times and patterns of sleep. This Fitbit is practical - easy to put on and its data easy to read and of course you can easily check the time. Altogether an excellent buy.

Very happy with this
14 April 2023

This was an upgrade on my previous Fitbit which was showing its age vis battery life and synching - this Inspire 3 works well and synching is a doddle. Really appreciate screen visibility in sunshine. I like a small tracker but decided that this was a better option than the Luxe ie much longer battery life and lower price; yes the unit is a bit bigger than than the Luxe but the benefits outweigh that dimensions increase over the Luxe.
