Original Sense had multiple failure points that started showing up after a year. I would recommend avoiding the Sense 2 for at least 12 months to see what problems if any repeat. Support was negligible and Fitbit decided the best approach was to not inform users of the problems or the potential solutions. Common problems were face falling off, charge pins on cable not functioning, step count widely inaccurate, etcThe existing App is also problematic. Randomly stops synching, fails to display data.Be cautious and look at alternatives before purchasing.

I bought a fitbit sense and loved it. I bought it when it was brand new. First watch - the strap didn't clasp properly and would randomly fall off and screen cracked. Fitbit did replace it with a refurbished product....this product randomly won't go past the logo screen. It wasn't turned off, was functioning fine minutes before. Google tells me this is a common problem happening to fitbit se se since the summer of 2022 - but fitbit won't fix or replace watches with this common issue because it's outside of the warranty. So if you want a watch that will last approximately 2 years, develop issues that fitbit is aware of but won't admit or address....this watch is for you. Go ahead and Google fitbit sense stuck on logo.....it's very common, wish I knew but sadly I trusted the brand

The side button is easier than on the Sense 1, and I find it easier to navigate. But it rarely gives me a sleep score and almost never gives me a readiness score. I've checked online and did everything I can: wearing it tight, restarting / resetting. It's cheaper than other smart watches, but you don't get all the great features it promises (at least not consistently).

As of March 27, 2023 Fitbit is removing functionality and features including open groups, adventures and challenges. There are many trackers and smartwatches available including Garmin, Galaxy and Apple that will provide health analytics and step counts. Google bought Fitbit and is now selling their Google Pixel smartwatch using the Fitbit platform. It appears fitbit will be phased out, especially when they are removing the distinguishing features of connectivity with friends and family through challenges. They are not a good investment and I have buyers regret.
Hardware especially sensor technology is leading edge. Software is very good except for fitness app which is rubbish. As a general purpose smart watch I would have given this 5 stars. But because it's pitched as a fitness watch the exercise activity functionality is unacceptably poor and no match for an equivalent Garmin.
The weirdest thing about this Google watch is that it only uses Alexa for a digital assistant. Luckily, I find Alexa less annoying for smart home controls. Google pay was just released and is now working on the watch. Google maps is otw. Extra sensors, decent battery life, perfect workout companion. Great watch
Purchased this Sense 2 FitBit in the hopes it would do what it said, especially at nearly $300Cons:-It didn’t have a very accurate step count-BPM reader also didn’t seem reliable-visually the screen was slow with swipes and created a blurPros:-I did like it’s feeling and size-Comfortable and light enough to barely notice it-It’s reminders are good as it vibrates-Connection for Bluetooth to phone was pretty easy, overall worked well.-Not really good for iPhone users as you can’t reply back to texts from the watch and only read messages.-Sleep Monitor was nice but not sure how accurate it’s was.-Charger was magnetic and one of the best I’ve seen but wish the cord was longer
No Spotify or any sort of music control ! So many missing features, nothing smart about that watch.I just bought a Fitbit Sense 2 this morning as my first smartwatch and as the day goes on I am getting more more disappointed with the watch !How come a product that is meant to be one of the top tier smartwatch on the market doesn't offer basic controls such as changing your music while running, without having to reach for your phone !?I have done a lot of reading today and I can see that I am not the only one feeling let down !
Well, this is my second FitBit sense that has broken on me. The first one lasted almost two years, the latest one lasted four months. Same problem - it eventually won't accept a charge. Luckily, I git the extended warranty and got a Best Buy credit both times without any hassle. It's also a bit strange that FitBit hasn't come out with anything more modern than the Sense in three years.
I got this for Christmas 2022. This is an excellent product and has performed beyond my expectations. I cant say enough good things about this. The charge time is relatively short and the battery life is about a week so the performance is excellent. Also the integration with my Google Pixel phone is very smooth and reliable
