After using this watch for 2 weeks I'm actually really disappointed! This is definitely not a smartwatch, but instead it is a more exclusive fitbit tracker. For some stranger reasons fitbit decided to throw away a lot of good features from the previous sense like music, calender and some much more because this watch doest support any third part apps.. at all! They used to advertise thos watch as a smartwatch with "hundreds of apps" but when a lot of customer's critized them for it they changed the wording on the website because, NO it doesn't not have a hundred of apps, not even close.As a customer you may think that this watch would be an upgrade from the fitbit sense considering it's called fitbit sense 2 but NOPE it definitely isn't. Got this to replace my several years old Versa 2, expecting it to be a significant upgrade being a higher-tier model and two generations newer. I was sadly disappointed. Calling this a "smartwatch" is a lie, the non-fitness features have been dumbed-down to the point of uselessness. Third party apps? Nope, you can forget about Spotify control, your preferred running app, etc. Watch face selection is extremely limited compared to previous models, and gone is the ability to switch between loaded watch faces on the watch itself, you have to use the phone app for that now.Then you get to actual usage, where simple things just don't work right. Set a "silent" alarm to wake you up in the morning? Great, it goes off as expected. After being hit with COVID twice, my health has not been the best and I have expereinced some ongoing issues with my heart racing at times, dizziness, vertigo and shortness of breath. This watch has really helped me keep track - from monitoring my heart rate to keeping track of my diet and making sure that I'm eating enough. It also keeps track of how much water I'm taking in - a huge help in remembering to stay hydrated, which is key to recovery. One of the features I found most helpful, though, is the sleep monitoring. It tracks how much REM sleep you get, how many times you wake and gives you a general overall picture of your sleep. I will never buy a product of cost from Very again after my recent experience, I purchased a sense 2 after deciding to upgrade from my Fitbit Versa at the beginning of Jan. the watch seemed great to start but 15 days later it stopped tracking any of my health metrics, I called customer services and they apologised, sent me the returns form and sent a replacement out. Sadly the replacement was even worse and wouldn’t work from day one. All it seems to track is steps and intermittently the heart rate. I purchased the watch for the sleep metrics as it links to another health app I have but nothing works. I upgraded to sense 2 from a versa 3 and I have to say I love it. I loved it so much that I upgraded my husband's and bought him one too. It does everything I personally need from a fitness tracker. Battery life lasts 6 days most of the time but can be less if using your GPS. The ECG function is good and GPS worked well when I tested it on a 9-mile walk. I love the colours and the face is durable. The steps are accurate, as are the floor counting. I can take calls on my watch (once I linked it to sense 2 calls on Bluetooth) which is great as you never miss a call if you've left your phone in another room etc. I personally love the Fitbit app, and the way the calorie tracking and targets work.
