Fitbit Versa 4 Fitness Smartwatch Graphite

I particularly like how long the battery lasts—six to seven days. This works incredibly well for me because I need to know my heart rate when I'm taking a break between weightlifting sessions. I also enjoy that you can change the screen's brightness as well as the vibration's intensity for alarms and notifications. My previous fitness watches were unable to do this. The app and in-depth sleep analysis are two other things I truly like. This watch is also very slim and not bulky, which is nice because my old watch was annoyingly often getting caught on my sleeve or bag strap when I was going about my daily business. The touchscreen is quite responsive as well. awesome watch

Good product!

I purchased the Luxe and have enjoyed it for about a year. My first intro into Fitbits. But I found the Luxe hard to read because of the small print. I thought the size and relative ease of the Versa 4 was great and I had no trouble setting it up. It seemed to "freeze" off one time but had no trouble following a guide on google to get it to unfreeze. I'm just delighted with this particular Fitbit and have it all set up and it's been reading my sleep for about a week. Keeping track of my resting pulse and pulse rate. So far, it's been easy..... and I'm 73!! I actually thought I'd hate the band but turns out I even like that too. Comfortable and pretty.

I am enjoying it! Got it as an early Mother's Day gift, so I've been wearing it for 4 days(all day and all night) now and still have 34% battery left. I have an iPhone so the text feature isn't available, I can still read texts on it but can't quick text back unfortunately. Sometimes syncing to the app can be finicky but it eventually works a few minutes later when I try again, not really a big deal to me. I had an Apple Watch prior to this and I'm really trying to focus on my health after just having my second kid and this lays out everything for you in one place in the app so I can track my macros, water, steps, workouts, sleep, stress, readiness, etc all in the app.... unlike Apple Watch where I have to have multiple different apps for it all.

My Favorite Tracker

For some reason, I end up purchasing a tracker approximately every two years. I have owned various makes and models. The Fitbit is by far my favorite maker. Why? For some reason, I am more motivated to get to 10,000 steps daily. I like the format of the daily and weekly summaries. My only concern is with the “watchband buckle” design as it snaps in place. I have lost two Fitbits loading groceries and completing chores where the band unbuckled and then it was gone. I would recommend going to an actual buckle as opposed to the snap design. Honestly, I am surprised they are still using this design.

Not As Good As The 2

I have had several fitbits all of which I purchased here. Last one was the Versa 2. It was getting pretty worn (I’ve had awhile), my two has everything I depend on including weather, steps, alarms and especially my notifications.This new watch set up easily but nothing has gone right. I struggled setting up alarms, the weather app I use won’t work on this one and the one I had to install never works.I’ve tried several fixes for the notifications and it doesn’t work, I’ve missed important phone calls because I got used to my watch notifications.I’m going to return this and go back to my old one, it’s old but at least it works. Maybe I’ll cave and get a Apple Watch since these are becoming more trouble than they’re worth.If you don’t depend on those applications ... MoreI have had several fitbits all of which I purchased here. Not a good watch.

I do not like this watch. I’ve used Apple Watch for years but really wanted to switch to Fitbit since I had one before and loved it. This version is either terrible or the quality has declined significantly since Google bought them out.Most of watch faces are not interactive, and the ones that are require you click though screens rather than access the “app” or feature you select. You have no control over changing any details on watch faces. Weather is inaccurate. No support for music play, the app is messy (I was on the premium trial) and it crashed twice on me within first 2 hours of using watch. The calorie burner registered 800 calories burned when I put on the watch for the first time. Overall, this was a terrible purchase and I returned it the day I bought ... MoreI do not like this watch. Nevermind that you lost all the data for the past four days that you wore the device to track. Nevermind all of that. Now is syncs again! It syncs the NO data that has been added since you last reset it. It syncs NONE of the data from the past four days that it wouldn't sync.I had a 100 day step streak, going into my ownership of the Versa 4. Then, it decided to stop syncing, stop tracking, stop doing it's ONE JOB, and now the streak is gone, I've cancelled Fitbit premium.Instead of rewarding the early adopters of this device (who deserve the reprieve here) and offering a refund, they are only offering to replace with the same inherently defective device.Suffice to say, one thing I will never own again is a Fitbit.

This is my 4th fitbit over the years

I just got this versa 4 because my versa 2 stopped text messages. Yes I tried everything for hours and even followed you tube videos, still wont get text. Ive turned off Bluetooth, forget this device, shut down, updated versa right out of box, phone is updated, of course notifications are all on. Every Fitbit trouble shoot I DID. This happened with my first versa as well, so I bought the next versa 2. The first one did send text for a bit then stopped. Then after having Versa 2 the text stopped again, now versa 4 & nothing at all cant even get it to work. Im starting to think its only a feature for android and they let you think its for both. Alot of complaints about notifications I’ve read its so disappointing, Its probably going back.

Worse than Versa 1/2/3. It's a downgraded dumbwatch.

Less features than previous watches. Can't install apps or games. Can't control or any music on your phone from your wrist. It's extremely limited to just basic use. I used to be a Pebble fan, then Fitbit bought them. Then I was a Fitbit fan until Google bought them. But now Google is quietly sabotaging the Fitbit brand to entice users to switch over to the Pixel watch. Very frustrating that I bought this thinking it would be better than my Versa 3. Avoid!

You decide

I got mine less than a week ago in beet juice/copper rose aluminum. I also got an additional hook & loop coastal blue band. (+) I find all pieces to be beautiful. The bands I purchased are great and fit well. My wrist circumference is just under 7". I'm loving the small beet juice band as there's only a tiny bit of extra band to tuck in, and I love the large hook & loop coastal blue band for comfort.The face piece is shiny and smooth and lovely to look at. AND IT'S SLIPPERY! (-) This brings me to my first negative. If you're like me and like to change bands for different colors/textures, be extremely careful. The main watch piece is like an oyster. I felt the set-up instructions could have been clearer. The number of apps needed if you want to connect it to your phone, and sync it, and connect it to certain apps on your phone like Health and MyFitnessPal, and find it if it's lost, and use the free premium trial is annoying and frustrating and could be streamlined and made more clear, imo. If my mother wanted to use one, she'd really struggle with the set-up and would definitely need help.(-) Another NEGATIVE is the Fitbit to Apple Health app and its advertising. Awful. I almost returned the Fitbit due to this. There is an annoying advertisement that tries to get you to buy its services, which looks very much like the next stage of syncing your watch to your phone. Don't touch it. Bypass what you can, suffer through the prompt to buy a monthly/yearly/lifetime membership, and ask yourself why you did't just get a pedometer. Lol. I hate this app with a passion and may still scrap it all because of it.(-) I think Fitbit should have more photos of the bands on people in various lighting on the Web site. And I'd like to see multiple pics of each band design on multiple skin tones.(-/+) I miss directions in booklets. I could have read them while waiting for the apps to finish installing. On the plus size, the watch will run you through some directions eventually. I found those directions came a little late, but they are at least eventually available.(+) Once you see the basic way the watch works, it's pretty easy to use. A little trial and error is needed, but it's doable. The more out of touch an owner is with recent tech gizmos, the more difficult the adjustment will be.(-) THE HUGE NEGATIVE that was why I almost returned the watch the day it arrived: No outlet plug-in is sold with the watch. Apple at least advertises this fact pretty clearly for its watches right on each watch's online description page. Fitbit does not. There's no warning of it until the checkout page, and then it doesn't specifically tell you it won't be included. It says what will be included which sounds like a wall charger will be included because the word charger is used. I personally feel the word "charger" should never be used unless one can actually charge the item in an OUTLET using what's included. Opening the box to find a usb "charger" was not okay. I own an Apple computer that doesn't have those usb ports on it. I also own an iphone that doesn't use the 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports. I was out of luck to charge my new watch until I remembered having owned a Samsung phone many eons ago with a wall charger that I hoped would work. It did work, but I had to dig it out of storage first. Yes, you can pick up a wall charger at many stores, but if you're doing this past 10pm at night and hope to have it ready to read your sleep pattern that same night and use right away in the morning, this is a huge annoyance and inconvenience. And this assumes you live anywhere conveniently near one of these stores. (-) And customer service isn't very empathetic. "We don't sell wall chargers," was their way of helping me. "Use your phone charger" was the advice after I'd already told him my charger wasn't compatible. NOW I know Fitbit doesn't sell wall chargers. It would have been great to get a big message warning me of that well before I purchased the Fitbit.In SUMMARY, it is a very beautiful, slippery sucker of a fitness watch that needs improvements on its Web site regarding the lack of an outlet charger being included and more pics of the bands on models of different skin tones and in different lighting. The Versa 4 has some frustrating apps and app features and set-up directions that could definitely use to be streamlined and laid out more clearly but otherwise has a reasonably sound method of moving through its screens to operate it. With a few fixes to the set-up and an owner being careful to change bands over a cushioned, soft-textured anti-skid surface like carpet, one likely won't need to contact the unsympathetic customer service staff. It really is pretty to look at and the sleep details it provides are interesting. I'm just not looking forward to paying for the premium membership when the 6 month free trial is up. [2.5 stars for the watch itself. 1 star for Fitbit description thoroughness and customer service.]
