BUYER BEWARE!!! Versa Batteries OVERHEAT while on charger!!! Never leave your watch on the charger without checking it every 30 mins for your health and safety of your home and life. This can burn your house and cause death!!!! I purchased the FitBit Versa only to have the battery overheat while on the charger. Luckily I always checked it within 1hr. It was so hot it burned my fingers while removing it from the charger. They kindly replaced it with another just by calling and explaining the problem. Unfortunately, this replacement also OVERHEATED on the charger. This time they supplied the FedEx return label that was used and has been in transit for 3 months , (since Jan 13, 2022 today is March 15, 2022 ). I am highly disappointed with Fitbit for not standing behind their product when it is definitely a manufacturer issue of an OVERHEATING BATTERY.AGAIN!!

I wear my Versa all the time. It is so comfortable and useful in many ways. I love love LOVE this watch / health fitness tracker. I can download music straight onto the watch and use Bluetooth headphones, which is my favorite part and is very motivating when working out. I love that it keeps track of every workout, and even has guided programs for working out or keeping you on track and even reminds you to hit your goals. It allows you to track your water intake as well as your calorie intake so you can closely monitor all your stats. It even warns me when that time of the month is approaching or how many days are left. Customization is key for me as well. When I purchased this watch I was just starting my exercise journey and needed something to track my progress while keeping me accountable. This Fitbit watch Did as expected and a little more. Having this on my wrist was a constant reminder that even when ur not in the gym you can still put a step or two towards your goal. I started parking far away from entrances and jogged to my car instead of walking. I could bring it anywhere from work to the pool and I wouldn’t feel underdressed or out of place. I would recommend this device if you are serious about ur workout goals.

The product is ok the customer service and warranty are not worth it! While working yhis product did what i needed it for it only lasted 6 months and when it broke they received it ot wsbfocmes took awhile which was defeating as I used his product daily for my own goals. Whe returned back to me ot wouldn’t charge and going through customer service ewes a nightmare . I ended up having to buy my own Cather as it didn’t work when it came back into my obsession. I was told my warranty was over as I had used it already. That must haven been in the small print as warrant said 2 year in product box . made an ok product had to replace band prior to 6 months . So it was void after six months of use Also it’s a very manly style which isn’t my favourite cause it was hard to dress up with everyday outfits and sometimes made Wearing daily a fashion faux pas which therefore messed up accuracy of my goals and challenges that were happening 24/7. My first fitbit my ex boyfriend bought and it was like six years ago. That was a good fit bit, but in the past four years they've sucked. I've gone through at least three or four fitbits and they really aren't that great. They glitch, the screens don't work, and I can't take calls most of the time it rarely syncs properly. I'm tired of paying a lot for a sub par product. But when their items break they'll give you a small discount for the new item because they will lie and day oh that model had problems get this new more expensive one for 15% off. I definitely don't recommend and won't keep buying.

I have an LG G6. None of the LG's are listed by Fitbit as supported devices but I took the plunge regardless. I've had no problem syncing the two at all. The notifications that I want to come through do so perfectly and I've had no issues whatsoever with the two working together. I wouldn't let this put you off buying. 3. I bought the lavender special edition watch when it was on special offer for the same price as the regular watch. I therefore have 2 straps (one lavender and one black rubber) and have changed them a few times. I haven't had a problem at all changing these around. Yes it's a little fiddly but that's going to be the case on any smart watch simply due to the size of the connectors. The things I like best about the Versa are: 1. Heart rate monitoring seems to be streets ahead of my old Charge HR which was a little iffy. 2. It's comfortable. Like I say, I had a Charge HR before this and I had to stop wearing that because the rubberised strap kept rubbing on my skin and making it really sore. I've not had that problem at all with the Versa in either strap and the only time I'm not wearing it is in the shower (that's when I charge it!). 3. Sleep monitoring. I love the fact that you get more in depth sleep monitoring with the Versa, telling you the time you spend in each sleep stage etc. 4. Automatic exercise recognition. The fact that the Versa will automatically detect when you are working out is a great help. On my old Fitbit, if I forgot to press the start button when I got to the gym, it was a real pain trying to work out my exercise zones etc. with this - I know that this will start automatically for me which is a real help. Things that I would like to see improved on the Versa: 1. I would love to see a Spotify app added. Even if this was just a control linked to your phone to be able to skip tracks etc. on the go it would be great. I don't know many people who use Deezer or many who would want to make the switch after setting up playlists etc. on spotify. I think Fitbit may be missing a trick here. 2. Sleep monitoring. Although I am happy with the monitoring on the whole, the older Fitbit's will recognise when you sleep whether it's a short nap or overnight. With the Versa, it will only recognise your sleep if it's over 3 hours so you lose that ability to monitor your sleep if you have a short nap. It's not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have that information. 3. Period tracker. The Versa has it's own period tracker built into it which is great but again seems to overlook the fact that other apps are available and that people may have already built up a history elsewhere that they don't want to loose. Integration with apps such as Clue for this would be great. Overall, whilst there are a couple of small points that could be improved, I am really happy with my purchase and would encourage anyone thinking of buying a Versa to get one.

So I decided to call Fitbit when I called them they are telling me to do the same thing that I did when I went on YouTube not only that now they’re telling me that I have to wait for warranty to call me back because the warranty on it is only for a year. And the warranty people are telling me that there nothing they can do about it. So basically I am out of a watch that I spend almost $200 for it and the Watch is no good. Low quality, high price. DO NOT BUY

It was functioning fine till the warranty period. Warranty period got over and in 2 months Fitbit versa went blank screen. Their wrist band are not of good quality, rubber ones broke. Contacted customer care for the watch screen going blank but warranty was over so they could not help. So my 13k ₹ in dustbin now. It's like a made in china product with high price. Do not go with the brand name, their customer service is pathetic. This is a known issue, many people have faced it, what I read from other reviews and support.

New Update Caused Older Model to Crash

I purchased the fitbit versa in 2019 and took excellent care of it. I absolutely loved it and had no issues with it. Come October 2022, they rolled out with a new update. As soon as my fitbit updated, it completely crashed and stopped working. I tried everything I could to get it to work but it would not turn back on. After doing a lot of research, I read that a ton of other customers had the same issue with their older models after the update. I reached out to customer service for help and they did offer a 35% discount off a new device, however, I am still extremely disappointed in fitbit with this and now hesitant to even purchase a new device. Not only is it illegal to come out with updates making older models obsolete, but it is just beyond poor business practice.

Waste of Money: Won't Last and Features Won't Work. Horrible Customer Service and Refund Policies. Better Off Going with Apple Watch or Garmin.

You'll have to keep contacting them to get it replace whilst being blamed for it in the process. Plus, their Premium subscription is non-refundable. If you try canceling through the app, it may not successfully work, and they'll end up charging your account and not providing a refund because they only offer one month free. They won't offer store credit or gift cards. The best part is their customer service representatives will blame you for not properly canceling your subscription (when it's a click of a button).
