The exercise options are decent although I have only used walking and running so cannot comment on the others directly.Sleep analysis tracks well and it is interesting to view regarding my light and deep sleep. Although it quite often thinks I'm sleeping when I'm very docile on the sofa. The Fitbit companion app also comes with a variety of other trackers including stress management, water consumption, calorie tracker etc. I received a free trial of Fitbit premium initially with the device but I most likely won't continue with it after it has run out as the extra cost doesn't seem to be worth it for the extra perks it comes with. The variety of watch faces that are available to download feel quite limited but this is only a very minor gripe.Overall I'm pleased with the watch and would recommend it to others who want a smartwatch which is a jack of all trades.

A don't buy for me as the heart rate recording and activity level tracking seems very inconsistent and inaccurate. I can do a 45 minute circuit style workout mixing weights and cardio and get only 9 zone minutes. Despite being slightly breathless, sweating and feeling my heart pumping faster Then on occasion I have recorded zone minutes sitting, quietly knitting! Walking doesn't register as activity unless I am walking very fast and /or uphill. Readings compared to my old Fibit are vastly different. Have tried wearing it in different positions and different levels of tightness but nothing helps. Having the free Premium is very frustrating. Tells me to have an easy day and just do 80 zone minutes....I need to go flat out for about 2 hours to get that on this watch. ... MoreA don't buy for me as the heart rate recording and activity level tracking seems very inconsistent and inaccurate. I find the timer function very useful to have when I'm cooking. It's very comfortable to wear and I hardly notice it's on my wrist. The battery life is excellent and it charges very quickly, which is a huge advantage.

Joanne's review of FITBIT Versa 4 with Amazon Alexa - Waterfall Blue & Platinum
11 February 2023

Pros: Great for checking your steps and calories used. You can also add your food intake via the app to show calories in vs calories out.Cons: Needs decent instructions. I took it back to the shop because the watch was showing the previous day and time to be told I need to refresh the app to update the time. Some days the time was correct so when it wasn't I thought it was faulty. People had messaged on fitbit forum and the staff didn't even know what was wrong. I took mine back to the shop for the girl behind the till to tell me that I just need to refresh the app.Don't know what it doesn't just sync up itself when switched on but It hasn't put me off. It's a good fitness tracker.

Product has been released to market too soon without a number of the smart features having relevant supporting software available. For example I've contacted Fitbit directly and they don't even have a date when features like Google Maps and From-Wrist calls will be available - which is fairly unacceptable given these are key selling points of the watch. Also - you might expect the Versa 4 to be an upgrade on Versa 3 with additional functionality? Instead it has less - there are no music apps available for Versa 4 so if you want to listen to music whilst you run you have to carry your phone - which is a step backwards in terms of features. At the moment a Versa 4 is a very expensive digital watch that tracks exercise. Firstly, I should state that I have owned and used the Versa 2 for over 2 years and love it. My plan was to purchase the Versa 4 because the only feature that I missed was GPS. Unfortunately, Fitbit have added with one hand and taken away with the other.A huge bugbear is there is no longer the facility to store music on the watch. The whole point of having GPS is no longer needing to take your phone with you but now it is still required if you want to listen to music while exercising. My main disappointment though, is that this model no longer allows third party apps. The ability to add these apps was one of the best features of the Versa 2. There were many to easily install - from a simple calculator to the wonderful C25K running tool. For me, without these ... MoreFirstly, I should state that I have owned and used the Versa 2 for over 2 years and love it. All the people were very nice but the failure of the e-gift card delivery is not worth pre-ordering any purchase again from this store. The first phone CR person discovered the e-gift card had been applied to my purchase (it wasn't) but this made the weekly emails asking me to claim the e-gift not work. I did try to go through the link provided. And this purchase was not even in my BB History... Also, even though BB said the purchase would not be charged until the item was sent - I was charged on the day I placed the order - a month before it was even shipped.I am venting here because they have sucked hours of my time to redeem an e-gift card that they screwed up the delivery of. In the end they will mail me a physical gift card. Which will arrive in 7-10 business days. This has been an annoying and challenging experience that needs to be elevated to BB management.DON'T PRE-ORDER FROM BB ON-LINEJust laughing so I don't cry.

pool quality, avoid at all costs

I have been using Fitbit products for at least 7 or 8 years, and I find Versa 4 smartwatch very very disappointing. It will most likely be last Fitbit gadget. First and foremost, the "reminder to move" function stopped working for no reason after just about two months. I talked with Fitbit customer service three times, and they couldn't provide a solution at all. Total waste of my time. Second, the battery is a mere joke. After two months of light use, now the battery lasted just about two days. I got constant reminder almost every day to recharge my battery. I also talked with the customer service about this, and they merely sent an article on Fitbit battery for me to read on my own. My third complaint is about the the original wrist band. It comes loose too often, no matter during workouts, swimming, or sleep. A few times I realized I had lost my Versa 4, which came loose from my wrist, in the swimming pool and had to look for it all over the pool. I certainly didn't expect a product of such poor quality or design for the price I paid.
