You buy this on the strength of the brand and it delivers and has been holding up. The colour is amazing and the zippers are secure. It is not waterproof but held up pretty well under a storm (especially main compartment). I wish, however, that it was chubbier and shorter instead of long and slim, though it still can house a number of textbooks easily.

Checked all my boxes. Two water bottle holders (though do agree that it would be nice if they had just a tad less give or a cinch to keep them tight). The right amount of zippers and pockets. Love the easy access pocket at the top. Straps are very comfortable and have no problem wearing it for a long time. Wonderful bag.

I was needing something to tote my books to class. I was going through cardboard boxes like crazy! The bottom would let loose or the rain made it soggy. I was in a heap of trouble! So I started perusing Moosejaw for a book toter! I found a humdinger of a book toter! Holds up in rain and snow and I can even safely tote my computer. With my new toter, I’m grinning like a possum eating peanut butter!

Purchased this a month ago and have been very pleased. Was using a North Face Borealis before this one, and was unhappy with it's top-heavy design. I also felt like I didn't need all of the space that the Borealis had, so I was looking for a slightly smaller pack. The Skule 28 has fit my needs very well. It stands up easily on its own, the laptop pouch is perfect for my 15" MacBook Pro (I can even slide the whole case into the pouch and leave the case in the backpack). The green color is attractive but not too flashy and the sturdiness of the bag seems to be excellent. The material is impressive and overall it is a very comfortable bag. If you need a daypack for school or work, I cannot recommend this one enough.
Pick up this backpack to replace my North Face Recon backpack from over 10 years ago. This is my first Fjallraven product and I am very impressed. The backpack is lightweight and the straps are very comfortable! This is a perfect backpack for everyday use or for day hiking. I do wish it had straps at the bottom of the bag so that I could attach something beneath and that it stood up on its own, but other than that, I have no complaints!
Love this back pack! It has all the little pockets and cubbies you need while still offering an incredible stylish look! I travel internationally for business, so I want something that doesnt make me look like a 12 year old walking through the airport. Any way, the only negative I can find about this pack is that it only offers 28L for volume. Id prefer a 35 - 40L during my travels so that I can get a few more essentials inside, but its just right for heading to the office every day. Aside from my wish for more volume, Id say this little pack is near perfect!
It was exactly what I was looking for. The cushion on the straps and on the back make it super comfortable and breathable. 40oz owala and 32oz hydro water bottles fit securely on the side pockets (without handle). The top pocket is the perfect size for a wallet and keys. My 13in MacBook fits in the laptop compartment but too loose for my liking (will probably still use a laptop sleeve). Overall the backpack is really well made. Can't speak on the longevity yet, but I bet it will last me more than one semester of college.
Overall, I really enjoy this backpack. It's the perfect size for what i use it for, which is mostly college but also just as an everyday commute bag, and sometimes a weekend bag. All of my yetis fit in the side pockets, which is an issue i've had with other backpacks in the past. the only things i would say is that the hanging strap is in an awkward place, and sometimes gets caught and can be uncomfortable on my back. I also think if there was just one more pocket/compartment it would be perfect. However, this will definitely be my go-to bag for hopefully a long time!
After my favorite backpack of 15 years finally wore out, I spent the best part of 3 hours searching for a replacement. Nothing besides this one seemed to fit the bill. The inside is spacious and not hampered by excessive pockets nor dividers, it's super lightweight, the shoulder straps are narrow for smaller folks like me, and the chest clip sits high up on the chest making it female friendly. I have a good feeling this one will last me the next 15 years :)
This bag is amazing! I was using a Patagonia 26l as my backpack/kid bag for my son but we have a baby in the way. So I bought this to try since it’s bigger and I love this brand. It’s perfect! Helps organize baby items. Large pockets, unzips for wide access. I love the bungee on the front so I can strap on coats or extra layers. Plus it’s very soft, padded, and feels great to carry. Can’t speak to durability of this backpack yet, but typically it’s great for this brand.
