I have used this iron product off and on for years and have recommended it to many women that I know who have been struggling with low iron levels. It's a tasty supplement and not difficult to take, highly nutritious, and from a reputable German company. I feel much better whenever I take this supplement and notice the improvement in my energy levels and wellness immediately. It only takes a day or two to really feel the difference after I start taking it. :)

I have should check the ingredients first but this contains camomile so everyone that is allergic to asteraceae can not take it. After 2 days my skin was hitching.

I'm so confused by all the comments saying this tastes nice. It tastes like you are drinking blood. Ever bit the inside of your mouth and started bleeding and having that metallic blood taste in your mouth? That is exactly what this tastes like. I so badly don't want to waste it but after trying it 4 times I can't keep taking it... holding my breathe when I swallow doesn't even help. Such a waste of money:(

I bought this about 4 weeks ago as I was feeling very limp, run-down and generally exhausted. I've been taking the recommended 20ml every day and although I'm not bursting with vitality I do feels loads better and I'm sleeping much better than I was. Other reviewers have complained about the taste- it's a sweet, prune-like taste with a slight iron tang to it; not a terrible taste but probably not something you'd sip on for pleasure! Personally, I'm really happy with my Floravital (and have signed up to get it on subscription) and if you're feeling a bit pale and wan it's just the thing.
This formula is super easy to take, and doesn’t taste bad either! It’s recommended that you take it twice daily, which isn’t ideal when you have other medication to take that isn’t compatible. I’ve been taking it for a while, however, and I prefer it to the other prescribed capsIke’s that don’t work nearly as well.
This stuff is magic! Makes me feel so much better. Stops me feeling like I need a sleep after work, instead makes me feel alive again. Very good that there is this gluten, yeast etc free ‘vital’ version.
I value the Floravital range of products and have been recommending them for over 20 years. However I was very disappointed to receive this product containing only 4.8mg of iron. I had been using the product with 9mg iron/5ml dose, all this time, and specifically checked the 'product info' online prior to ordering - to be sure I was getting the 9mg, and NOT the 7mg; so was very disappointed to only get 4mg!
Oh this got me. The side effect to this took me down hahaha. It caused stomach upset almost immediately. It doesn't help that the instructions calls for an empty stomach. I was hoping this wouldn't happen with this product but it did to me. My stomach gets very noisy, no pain, and of course diarrhea. I'm testing it out tomorrow with a smaller dosage and with orange juice but I don't think that's how it should be taken to with effectively. It's much too pricey and doesn't last long for me to be so unsure, so I might not buy again unless my stomach settles with the lower dose. I don't know.
This takes a good week to start feeling the effects, I had been feeling really fatigued and like I was lacking something, even first thing in the morning and now I am beginning to feel a bit sturdier and little less exhausted. It comes with a little plastic measurement cap that you can secure to the lid and keep it all in the fridge once opened. I would definitely recommend it, the only reason I haven't given it the full 5* is because some of the fruit extracts are from concentrate. Other than that I would use it again if needed.
lovely product! been using this as a way to improve my iron, so far so good.with this product you have to wait round 2/3 months and be consisteny to see results, but so far im not gonna lie i see a small difference in my energy levels throughout the day and im not having frequent low energy crashes as i used to.The only downside about this product is the taste, it has a very stong malty taste, which im not a big fan of so i block my nose and make sure to have plenty of water to wash away the taste.
