I'm extremely pleased that it did, because I thought I was going to spend extra money. The case is a plus, because I can fit the 87-5 with c25 case, 88-5 with c25 case, the accesories, and an obd ll scanner inside of it. Prices vary between merchants, but got it for a good price (600). Fluke makes great test equipment, and the extra cost is well worth it.

It has all the attachments I need to do the tests I will need to test the electronics on a motorcycle.The only item it did not come with was a peak adapter.Very satisfied with purchase, ease of order and shipping. These meters are absolute garbage. Every time I go to use it it has one problem or another. I use it in the morning, I need to fix it. If I need it the same afternoon, it needs to be repaired for another problem. I need a meter to rely on. Fluke 88 was a fantastic meter, had one for home and one for work over 20 years of.service. Traded one in on 88v. Should have used money to repair 88. Next, who would make a meter with no zero function? Fluke went from making Bentleys to making Yugos.
I bought my Fluke 88V About two years ago. I am absolutely in love with it! I use it every time I do 12V installs and for setting idle speeds on small engines and larger equipment. I always mention it to other people and so far have never had a problem. Also the leads and accessories included are the best and most durable I have ever used. Overall this meter is a 100 in my books and I plan to buy at least 2 more in the future.

The Fluke 88 is an excellent multimeter and probably the best for you money. I'm very familiar with the Fluke 77 and 8600. The 88 combines the best of both and is a good choice for most all electrical work. It is suitable for the experienced technician and the every-day back-yard DIY person. The leads in the kit cover most that electrician would need. I added the larger aligator clips so I could clamp onto car battery terminals. There are a couple meters that offer more features, such as higher accuracy or a removable display, but unless you actually need these features, you're wasting money.

You can't go wrong with a fluke meter. I bought this to replace my aging and abused Mac multimeter. I've been very satisfied with the range of features, accuracy, and accessories of this meter kit. Two things I don't love: made in China (I would gladly pay $50 more for USA made), and the meter does not fit well into the case if the leads are plugged into it. Who in the world wants to unplug their leads every time they put the meter away. These are small but meaningful details in my view. Overall, I don't think you'll do better for a multimeter.
