Not impressed with the sound for a speaker this expensive. Using a JL VX800/8i and trying to DSP so it sounds okay, but very "tinny" and sharp on the higher frequencies. Should have went with morel.

I'm running mine with the included passive crossovers biamped with a D'Amore 700.4 amplifier and they take every bit of power nicely. I bought separate speaker pods for easier installation on the a pillars but they do come with mid & tweeter pods in the package though they will need some fabrication to mount them seamlessly.Sound treated the doors very well and custom mounted the woofers in the doors and so far they sound great but I'm still tweaking the tune to get the most out of them.

I got paid minimum wage and I was still able to afford these speakers and feed myself. It’s crazy the value you that comes out of such a affordable speaker. I am definitely recommending this as a buy!
