I bought this lovely device about a month ago. I've struggled with body acne for years and have tried numerous products that only made the problem worse (turns out my skin does not react well to traditional topical acne treatments).I use this about every other day on my spots. I noticed it makes my acne heal faster and disappear in about two days. Have been using the product for over 3 weeks now and I think it is a good investment.I have acne prone areas on my cheek and jawline, which always end up having pus filled pimples growing at those areas. Although these marked areas are still present on my face, but those on my cheek have not flared up since using this device and the ones on my chin deflated from pus filled pimples to a flattened one without squeezing.Compared to my LUNA 2, this ESPADA requires more frequent charging. Probably because each spot requires 30 seconds so if you have a lot of blemishes like me, you would need to charge it frequently.Packaging box was pretty dented, but the original foreo box and device was in good condition.

I don't have serious problems with acne, just some occasional blemishes on my chin and forehead, so I thought Espada would help healing them faster. Of course I didn't expect blemishes disappearing overnight, but I've been testing this device for 3 weeks and I see no results. It does absolutely nothing to my skin. So far I trusted Foreo - I have three other devices of this company and I was always happy with the results, however Espada changed it. I feel sooo disappointed and deceived.

I think of the Espada like i think of going to the gym. You need to stay consistent to get those results! But if you stay with it you will! I have had some monster zits creep up that the espada helped speed up healing and shortened the duration of their stay on my face ! I have some bumps on my face that have never cleared despite my best efforts. .I’m not sure if this device is even meant for these bumps but i have noticed with continued use they have gotten smaller and more smooth. I will leave another review in a month with the pictures i have taken on my skin clearing journey . I’m not ready to share them yet, but overall I’m very happy with my purchase
I love my espada, I purchased this when it was on sale and I wasn't sure how beneficial it would be. I read reviews and watched YouTube videos and everyone was raving about how wonderful it was, still sort of skeptical I purchased it anyway. Low and behold I had a massive stress induced spot outbreak right as my post was delivered so I tested it that evening. I used it 3 times in each affected area and went to bed. Woke up and the spots definitely where less visible, the outbreak was gone within 72 hours of using the device twice a day. I adore this product and I now fully understand the hype! Wish I had purchased it sooner!!
I’ve been eyeing this item for a while because of the good reviews. Finally gave in and bought one. First of all, I didn’t expect it to be small lol I mean at least I thought just a decent size. I’ve been trying it for a week 2x a day on my pimples around my chin area and I’ve noticed a difference every time I wake up the next day. The pimples shrinked in size and I love it. It’s not an instant remedy but it works if you use it diligently. Anyway, I’m happy with my purchase and will continue to use it.
I used Xmas money from my grandmother-in-law to get the Espada, and I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know blue light could target acne, and I mostly bought this with hopeful thoughts it would do “something”. Thankfully the device delivered (too well, I may add). When I used it to target hormonal acne, it really worked it’s magic and brought the pimples to the surface very quickly (and noticeably). It took a week or two to get rid of the major flare ups, but between this device and using pimple patches in between, it really did tackle my acne. So if you want to get rid of acne and can deal with having some noticeable flare ups while the device works it’s magic, then definitely use this.
This is actually my second Espada since I just want to have another one handy. This thing really work. I have oily and acne-prose skin. I use this immediately on the part of my face that feels a lump as an acne is about to pop. It stops the next day and that acne never appears. I still use it in that area for a couple of days until I know it really clears out the sign. When an acne appears anyway (sometines this thing doesn't give you a warning) I use Espada to treat it too and apply the usual acne medication afterward. It helps clearing it faster. Love this device so much.
The ESPADA is an absolute god send, I have suffered with adult acne for years and have found most lotions and potions to harsh on my skin. The acne cream that did help a little made the area red and I would be left with unsightly scaring. Since using the ESPADA on each spot as it occurs several times a day it will not develop into a pustule and will just dry up with no redness nor scarring! It is a little annoying that it only does one spot at a time and is quite costly but I do value FOREO with being a brand of excellence and I depend on it a lot and have even gifted my daughter one who also suffers with acne. 10/10

The battery lasts about a week's use for me. Large angry pimples used to take a week to heal, now it's 4-5 days. It can sometimes make smaller pimples that I catch early enough disappear entirely the next day. But I have one grumble, and that's that the white silicone top surrounding the laser comes off too easily. It started coming off after about 1 month's use and the adhesive is completely gone after 2 months. I use it carefully, have never dropped it and I rinse off after use as instructions state.
