Comfortable helmet
I am solidly a Medium per Fox sizing chart and wear M in other brands (e.g., Smith) too, and this lid fits very well. This is my first fuller coverage helmet (and first MIPS) and I have found it to be quite comfortable and lightweight. I didn't think I would care about the fidlock buckle, but it is nice to have and makes on/off easier when wearing gloves. Haven't gone out on any super long rides, but I can't see it irritating me or being uncomfortable in any way.On compatibility with glasses: I ride with cheap Amazon glasses. The arms of the glasses are quite long and did hit the helmet behind the ear. It didn't cause major problems, but because the glasses are so cheap and came with extra arms, I lopped off the last 1cm or so with wirecutters and there is no ... If you have nicer glasses I would check compatibility before you head out on trail. I have found it possible to stash the glasses under the visor in such a way that they stay securely when I'm not wearing them, but it's a little fiddly and tough to do while pedaling.... Show more

Comfy but poor ventilation
I got this helmet based on many positive reviews and have only been somewhat happy, I wore it mountain biking exclusively for at least a year thru all the temps one experiences in western Montana. The helmet itself is very comfy and feels light on my head. My dissatisfaction comes from even during early morning MTB rides when it's cool out, I noticed I was getting pretty hot and my head was sweating like crazy during hillclimbs. The other thing I noticed was the helmet didn't vent hardly at all as speed increased, say on the flats or downhill sections. I mean I couldn't feel any cooling at all especially compared to other older helmets I have which weren't fit to continue wearing from a safety standpoint. Now I only wear the Speedframe when I am commuting or ... Excellence.
Love the structural look and design over competitor helmets, generous venting, also the visor positioning functionality. Fits perfectly as it's very adjustable if needed. Clip is secure when helmet is pushed and tugged, yet wonderfully engages and disengages with ease with a knowledgeable hand. The faded design is the primary reason for my purchase, basic white/black fading to a splash of orange-red in the back...unique. The straps were solid black; I wish it came as pictured (faded white to black), but that doesn't matter much. It's a new purchase so cannot comment on durability; feels light, any color and structural seams and pads are smooth and without give, nice and solid. Seems it will last just fine and keep the noggin safe. Excellent all around.... Show more

Great Helmet!!!
After reading several online reviews I found that most sites rated the Fox Speedframe pro the best helmet of 2023. I was fortunate to find this helmet at a closeout price at Erik's bike shop. The fit is great and it looks awesome.#sweepstakes... Show more

High Quality, Looks Great, Super Light
I just got this helmet recently and I can tell it is going to be awesome. The only hiccup I have is that I accidentally got one that was too big! Putting it on it felt super light and comfortable and the straps went nicely around my ears without rubbing them. I absolutely loved the Fidlock magnetic buckle too! The shape of the helmet was really nice and I can tell that when I get the next size down it will be awesome. Wish I could say more on how it felt while I was riding with it but I haven't had the opportunity to yet! I'll update my review once I am able to! I got the Large and I have a 58.5 Cm head, it was barely too big and I could move the shell around my head. Size chart says that the Large starts at 59 CM and the Medium ends a 58 CM so I know the medium ... MoreI just got this helmet recently and I can tell it is going to be awesome. Really Great
This helmet is so light, and comfortable that its easy to forget that it is on my head. The extra liner that is included is an amazing touch. Living in a hot humid environment can make for some sweaty rides, where the liner will surely need to be replaced before the helmet in most cases. Great forethought from Fox to include another one up front. These forehead vents might be the best I have seen so far. When its time for a new helmet, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a second one of these!... Really Nice-Looking but Weird Strap/Fit
I bought this helmet for the brand reputation and looks, the dual-density foam, and it felt good in store. When I got home and tried to fit it, I realized the Y-junction of the strap on each side is completely non-adjustable. This means this junction is a full inch or more below my ear. Even with the strap snug, this allows too much play between helmet and head. Another unfortunate design issue is the visor does not readily come off so you will always have to ride with the visor even when it does not make sense to do so.... Show more

Sizing is frustrating
Helmet seems okay but Fox sizing design and BC needs to improve sizing listing.Backcountry -- sizing for the speedframe is not in the sizing chart button (other Fox model helmets are) so I had to go elsewhere to get the proper size chart.Fox -- other helmet makers design their sizes to overlap so medium ends at 58cm and large starts at 57cm. For speedframe 59cm is the upper end of M and lower end of L, which is exactly what my head measured. I thought there'd be some wiggle room but nope, large was just a bit loose with my hair short. If I was a couple weeks late on my haircut the L might fit but then the M won't! Overlap your size ranges by 1cm and everyone can find a helmet size that works. If your head measures in middle of their sizing range, go for it!... Show more

SPEEDFRAME Pro Fade Helmet Review
Excellent helmet. Great fit, secure straps. Light weight and vented. I've tried on other helmets to use, but I came back to the FOX brand helmet because of it's fit and comfort. Not sure why I tried anything else.... Show more

Very comfortable
Using this as my primary helmet, riding a lot in hot weather. The helmet is very comfortable in hot weather, never making it feel hot. It?s also very light, and I don?t really notice wearing it.I?ve used it with different sunglasses, and all worked well.... Show more
