Bought this Meshify 2 for a new build Im doing for the Ryzen 7 9800x3d. This case is easy to use do to the ample amount of space and modifications you can make, such as being able to fully remove top panel to install AIO. Also, the extra screens at the top, front, and bottom are fully removable if air flow maximization is your goal, even though thermal temps in case are great without removal of mesh screens. I love the black theme as I enjoying more of a darkened rgb theme inside my cases.

Over all this case is exactly what I was looking to use for a home server. I have a Threadripper running Windows Server 2019 Hyper-V. I needed more storage and had the drives, but I didn't have the space in my old case. After a lot of investigation, I felt that the Fractal Meshify was the best one for the job and I am not disappointed.

Great case for someone looking for maximum airflow. I tested a bunch of fan layouts in this case, and honestly anything mounted up top did not work that well. I originally had the 360mm rad up top, with 3x120mm fans in the front for airflow but while the GPU temp was 1 degree lower, the CPU temp quite quite a bit hotter. No matter how much airflow coming in the front of the case, it was hotter. Since I went with a 360 rad for this case, the best option was the rad in front (tubes up - it won't reach tubes down even ignoring the GPU length) with 3x 140mm fans up top and 140mm fan for exhaust in the rear. The rearmost fan up top is exhaust, while the two in front are actually intake blowing down into the case to get fresh air to the GPU. Came from a cooler master haf x to this and its a great case. Definitely tighter fit for wiring at the bottom but not terrible, probably the same as any other mid tower. Lots of space for graphics cards though, will never have to worry about the size of them. Super quiet with the right fan settings, at idle you can barely hear it with stock fans and even under load, its a ton quieter than the haf x. Great temps, better than the haf x without the gpu shroud and my clock have been more stable while running 3D mark. Great looking case as well, looks better in person than even the picks show.
Last case I bought was in 2009. It wasn't anything fancy. This is my first case which has cable management, and mount points for 2.5" drives. I bought additional drive trays to have 10 3.5" hard drives, and the case supports 3 2.5" drives. So lots of space for a NAS server. I'm not using an AIO, but it does have lots of options for that as well.
Over all i recommend this case to anyone who has the money to afford it. Be sure to have both kind of screw drivers on hand just in case. Fractal needs to tighten the "thumb" screws by hand so their snug and not so tight you need a screw driver. reason why theyre called thumb screws. 4 out 5 eggs because i almost got screw by over tighten GPU bracket screw thumb screw.
I wanted to replace my old Phanteks Enthoo Evolv TG when my new 3080 was starting to peak in the low 80s c. Although the Evolv is one of the best looking cases ever made, the Meshify 2 offers excellent looks and with rgb front and top fans, the mesh frame looks almost like stained glass. With a 360mm Corsair H150i Elite Capellix in the front, my cpu temps fell almost 4 degrees and my gpu fell 3-4 degrees. I plan to acquire more fans which I think will not only help lower gpu temps more by having more airflow from the front, but will also help fill some of the negative space towards the front of the case. I did not purchase this as a server case I purchased it as a gamer case and it excels in that. It will provide me years of options, I use a AIO now but with this case moving to custom built is attractive and easy. They did a great job of maintaining the interior usable space.
I bought this case for a home server build, and it did not disappoint. It offers exceptional airflow and a spacious interior. The thoughtful cable management features and build quality really made me love this case. Aesthetics are subjective, but I also love how this thing looks.
Packaged and arrived in good condition, I was a little worried about damage during shipping but it was in perfect condition on arrival. The case has very good airflow and lots of room for both fans and hard drives. Very easy to build in, lots of cable management options and extra fan headers built in. I needed a case that would accommodate a CPU cooler that was 165mm tall, as my old one did not.
