This stuff works. I started using this in my elderly aunts cats litter boxes. Totally removes the odor. I thought there may be the possibility that the cats would not like the scent but they're fine with it.No problems at all. You just have to be careful shaking it out because it can come out quickly

Maybe if you added half or more of the whole jar when you changed it you might notice a difference, but that seems like a waste of money to me. I like the crystals. The scent isnt too overpowering imo, just fragrant enough to neutralize the cat box. Easy to spinkle and doesnt disturb my cats to make them avoid the litter. Fast delivery and the least expensive through walmart.

The product is great and an effective deodorant for kitty boxes. The packaging, however, stinks. Most cat lovers are women! This is a very large product that is also heavy when trying to pick up. Most women could not pick this up with one hand.
At first I thought it was working. It was short lived. Odor came back thru very next day. Paired with crystal cat litter by this manufacturer. Supposed to have so many days of use but it was the worse smell just after 4-5 days after changing the entire box out
The scent of these crystals is too strong for me. I would also not call it "Fresh Scent" as it reminds me more of someone that has way too much floral perfume on. I can't really tell if they make a difference in controlling odor since the scent is so strong. Definitely will not buy again.
It works for odor control well enough. I prefer the fresh scent. This is a little concerning, especially if you have small children...the product is an orange color that smells sweet and of citrus...small children could mistake it for candy. It doesn't have a childproof cap. I would just say keep out of reach of children!
I bought the small crystals to try it out in the catbox and loved the fresh clean smell and how well they worked. When I ran out, I decided to buy the larger one so that they would last longer and this one is terrible. The smell is horrendous, like a rotten chemical smell and the color of the crystals is different also more of a flat blue and not the vibrant blue of the smaller pack. I ended up throwing them away because it gave me a headache, and I was afraid that they would make my cat sick. Waste of money. Could be I got a bad batch, I probably won't purchase again. Disappointed in Fresh Step.
I have sought how many additives to freshen up the litter box after use. I have tried various types of baking soda and powder. This product is stronger and longer lasting. A capful of capsules makes all the difference after cleaning the litter. I instantly smell it at work and the fragrance is pleasant. Most importantly, crystals don’t give off chalky powder. The scent is lasting. I find I need to freshen up the litter every few days in between litter changes. I am much more pleased with using this product and my car seems to appreciate it. This has become a staple for my household
This stuff smells amazing! I really like the fact that the crystals are bigger and you can see them in the litter. With that being said, the smell really doesn't last that long. It's almost as if the crystals are masking the odor as opposed to absorbing it like a baking soda one would do. Also, I feel like you have to use a decent amount each time. It recommends adding after each scoop which means you go through this container very fast. I like it, but I think I'll stick with the Arm and Hammer Litter deodorizer.
