This was a bit of an impulsive purchase but so far I've very happy. The camera is easy to use and perfect for me-- I wanted an instant camera so that I can be more intentional about taking pictures and get physical prints without having to get film developed.Quality is definitely good. It isn't the best in low light but I'm old enough to remember when all photos were like that, so it feels very nostalgic for me. I looking forward to letting my young cousins use this camera and experience the magic of physical photographs!I'm so glad that I bought this camera from B&H because I was able to get a package with a case made by Instax plus affordable film.

Awesome, well-built, and fun camera. The image quality is so unique which is what makes Instax cameras special. The square film is a nice size and I'm glad I went with it over the mini. The only two things I wish were different are battery type and built-in timer, or lack there of. CR2 batteries aren't as common, but they aren't hard to find. It would just have been nice if it used AA. The selfie mode and mini mirror in the front of the camera are such great features, but a timer would have complimented the selfie mode perfectly. On the other hand, the simplicity of this camera is really why I bought it. It really is a point and shoot with no bells and whistles. All things considered, I am glad I purchased this camera and look forward to continue using it for a long ... MoreAwesome, well-built, and fun camera. Turned it on and instantly got an error light. Ate a whole pack of film too, no way to remove it. The camera feels like cheap brittle plastic. Definitely not worth the money. Lots of reviews online saying the camera stops working after a few packs of film.

This camera is great! If you're looking for a simple point and shoot camera, this is perfect! I love the color and the picture quality is wonderful! I had a great experience buying from this shop. I highly recommend this camera for a vintage but modern picture quality.
Overall I love the camera, easy point and shoot. The only thing I would say is that be careful with accidentally taking photos because the button is awkwardly placed where we hold the camera. So it might be something you get used to. I also wish it had self timer mode of some sort.
I have most if not all of the Fuji install camera. I had this camera for a day and the back pc that holds the batteries in popped off and was lost and the batteries too. I tried the Fuji parts website and they sent me to replacement parts area and the battery cover is not available. I replied to Fuji and asked for a direct link. They said because it is so new they won't have them for a while. So now i'm stuck buying the camera again for a battery cover. The photos were the best instax photos that i have seen though.
I will start saying I have my BFA in Photo Image Making (analog/film photography). So I will say when it comes to photography I have enough experience with cameras. This camera is a great intro to Instant film cameras. It is different from the Fujifilm Instax Mini which has rectangle film vs the Square film this one has.The size of this film is smaller than your traditional Polaroid film ( if you are interested in knowing the exact size there is measurements in the specifications). This one is pretty straightforward when it comes to use. I tried the Selfie selection on the lens but it was slightly underexpose. This could have been from not allowing the flash to charge long enough.Usually if you have problems with an instant film camera it is usually due to low ... MoreI will start saying I have my BFA in Photo Image Making (analog/film photography). This could have been from not allowing the flash to charge long enough.Usually if you have problems with an instant film camera it is usually due to low battery or bad film.I let my 5 year old niece take a couple of packs of film and she took some really great phots.IF you are looking for a replacement of your old Polaroid camera, just know this is going to be very different same concept different company. Fuji created an instant camera when Polaroid was still making film. They even created another option for Polaroid’s peel apart instant film when Polaroid ceased manufacturing their film. When I used Fuji I knew I was going to get consistent result and quality film, however, I also knew from experience Fuji film has a more cool tone hue vs Polaroid and Kodak’s warm tone film.Polaroid has started manufacturing new instant cameras and film to go with but I have read a lot of reviews mentioning inconsistencies.I have the Instax Mini so I knew the only difference for this one was the square format. If you are set on the old Polaroid and prefer what you remember this might not be for you, but if you are open to something new that is easy to use with reasonably priced film I would recommend.
Basic point and shoot 'polaroid' camera. Images look good. camera doesn't have the bells and whistles like the SQ6 - just a 'selfie' mode. The only issue i came up against is that it's very easy to press the shutter release button accidentally - there is no guard to stop your finger slipping on to it. For a lot of right eyed people would have been nice if the flash and viewfinder were swapped as your nose is pressed up against back of camera if using your right eye
Absolutely brilliant, the pictures have that vintage quality about them, really easy to use, just twist point and click. Great to give friends and family souvenirs of our days out after this disaster of a year.Took a while to adjust to the clicker not being on the top but easy enough! Also a bit bigger than expected but worth it.
An impulsive buy for myself at Christmas, almost trade it for a portable printer (the logic being I will always have my phone but I might not want to carry a separate camera) - but I am glad I didn't!I take it on trips/special occasions, my tweens use it for 'arty' photos (street signs, sky etc) and I love their work!Bought it to a wedding and my 5yo nephew took lots of 'selfies' with it lol - yep, ouch, those films aren't cheap. But then the kiddos put photo corners on their various prints and display them on a wall at home, and I think it's all worth it (tips: limit them to one packet each per occasion ;p).
