FUJIFILM XF10, a premium compact digital camera with a high quality FUJINON 18.5mm F2.8 fixed lens. Weighing only 9.8oz / 280g, the XF10 combines simple touchscreen operation with superior image quality and versatile settings in a pocket-sized body, making it the perfect companion for photo enthusiasts and smartphone users alike. The XF10 has wide dynamic range and produces sharp, high resolution images. Combined with Fujifilm's proprietary color reproduction technology, its 24.2 megapixel APS-C sized sensor allows the XF10 to produce high quality images in a wide range of settings. In addition, both 4K movie and Full HD high speed video are available on the XF10. The first X Series camera to offer the new SQUARE MODE, which allows users to switch to a 1:1 format with a single flick of the touchscreen, the XF10 is built for on-the-go usability. In addition, the XF10 offers 11 unique FUJIFILM Film Simulations and 19 Advanced Filters, providing photographers with the ability to enhance their creativity. The camera introduces two new Advanced Filters - Rich and Fine and Monochrome [NIR] - to easily add artistic flair or film-like color tones to photos. The new Rich and Fine filter provides brighter and more vivid color at the center of the image, and a slight shadow at the corners in order to emphasize the subject, perfect for food and other tabletop photography. The Monochrome [NIR] filter simulates a monochrome effect as taken by near-infrared cameras. Available in Black or Champagne Gold, the XF10 is a stylish and portable tool for everyday creatives.

I bought this camera to carry all of the time. If youre in the market for this type of pocketable camera youll know that there are only a limited number which are in this league. This is probably one of the best value for money cameras in this group. The Fuji film simulations built into this camera make beautiful JPEG images. Its easy to use in auto mode or fully manual. I had researched this camera and read about occasional focusing issues. However I updated the firmware as soon as the camera arrived and I havent experienced any problems. An articulating screen would be useful, but I knew about this before purchase. Its possible to overcome this issue to an extent, by using the Fuji App to remotely view and trigger the camera. Firstly, the images from this camera are excellent. To be clear, they are not as good as the Fujifilm X100, but this will cost you near enough 1,000 more. Undoubtedly, the high quality images are mostly down to the huge APS size sensor crammed into tis package. If you are a snap-shot taker, then this camera will do the job just nicely. More than nicely, in fact, as thanks to that big sensor, images taken in less than favourable lighting will come out way better than lesser cameras and phones with smaller sensors. If you are a hobbyist (or even a pro), then this camera has a place in your pocket too. A friend said to me that the best camera you own is the one that you have with you when you need to take "that shot", and this camera will fit in your jacket pocket, or ... MoreFirstly, the images from this camera are excellent. It doesn't take long to get the hand of some of the more in-depth features of this camera allowing for some really good photos to be snatched when the shot will have got missed otherwise. Incredible good value for money. Looks fantastic too! I'm very pleased.

FujiFilm XF10 - A pocket Power House
3 March 2021

I am a bit of a FujiFilm fan I must admit up front. This little camera is well built and quite heavy for its size. It has two main control wheels which is one more than most cameras. It has a small built in flash that needs certain other settings to be set before it can be selected. Reading the (Large) manual would be a good idea. I has both JPEG and RAW capabilities with a few picture profiles. It has just about every function I could ask for and more. With an APSC size sensor it produces pictures on a par with a FujiFilm X-A5 or XT100. The only limitation is you have a fixed wide angle kens. It is however a good lens and opens to f2.8 You can get some subject separation but this is not its best usage. Great little camera

For what it is and at this price, its a great little pocket-able camera. The main reason I bought this was to have something pocket-able that wasn't my phone. This camera isn't for everybody, but it does everything I want it to for, a pocket-able camera with good image quality to take snap shots of my family and to travel with., the reason I bought it. And the excellent film simulations are the icing on the cake.My only criticisms are that for its price and being a fixed focal length, I expect better autofocus, hopefully a future firmware update will improve this. I also think at this price point it should have a flippy screen, but that would comprise some of its compactness, one of my primary drivers for going with this camera. Disappointed in the camera in terms of performance. After online searches I managed to improve the response time by adjusting a setting and upgrading the firmware. It's still pretty slow. The digital zoom is dire, dreadful quality and no range, not worth the effort. However, the touch screen for point focus is excellent. It is neat and compact. The pictures are sharp and vibrant. It could be outstanding if the issues could be sorted out.

Really wanted this to work out but.....

The swipe functions were not reliable/responsive. Also it is a little too “plasticy” for me, but yet reasonable for this price point. Another concern was inability to add a protective filter. I wanted a pocketable larger sensor camera to carry everywhere. This one needs to be in a case for protection when not in use; imo it wasn’t quite tough enough for me but close. Low liight performance was good and auto dynamic range worked well. Sent it back and Adorama was great to work with.

Touchscreen is a big benefit, except that the menus are button only, the swipe functions are a bit hit and miss, but I don't use them anyway. The snapshot modes are a brilliant feature for street or landscape photos, where the camera is preset to either 2m or 5m ready focussed, to give the desired depth of field, so no need to mess about with settings before taking the shot. The famous Fujifilm film simulation settings are available to give photos a unique look. So if you like to shoot in jpeg then the results will be very pleasing. I am still getting used to the many features, but I like this camera a lot. Ignore the bad reviews for this camera, they don't do it justice.

Street Camera? Yes, it works very well.

Often compared to the Ricoh GRIII, this camera can easily hold its own, being considerably cheaper as well as having a higher resolution sensor with Bayer Array feature. The image quality is excellent, the fixed 28mm equivalent lens being a great all round focal length for holidays as well as streep photography. The viewfinder touch screen is sharp and bright, and the touch screen feature can be turned off when required. The "Snapshot" focus mode can be set for 5 Meters or 2 Meters, and removes the need for the camera to focus for every shot, improving response time for spontaneous shots. There are the usual array of Fuijifilm processing pre-sets, including a "Near Infra Red" black and white one, which is great for landscapes. I am a sony fan and I've been using Sony A7 series for several years and I find it quite bulky and when putting on new Sony Lens. I need a camera that is small enough i.e sony rx100 series without having to compromise the sensor/picture quality. This is my first Fuji Camera and my first attempt to do snap shots and so far it is good enough for me concerning its minimal design. Its function is quite basic and straightforward. Its only drawback is the battery indicator is a bit awkward. Other than that it's a great camera for its price.
