I bought a 2200W Full Boar inverter generator almost 2 years ago from Bunnings and use it regularly when caravanning. Recently it started running roughly and stalled under load so I took it into Armadale Mower World for a service but the problem was a faulty carburettor which needed replacing. Unfortunately Bunnings were unable to order a replacement carburettor assembly for some months and promptly agreed to replace it with a new unit. Full Boar is made by Ozito and I have a lot of Ozito products which have performed well over the years. Thank you Ozito and Bunnings for excellent customer service! You will continue to be my “go to” hardware store.

I bought this one because the generator i had died. I need a generator to run the aircon on my greyhound trailer, I literally took this one out of the box, it has everything you need the oil and tools and also comes with spare spark plug, the instructions were easy to follow, I added a bit of fuel and started within 3 pulls, Best generator hands down.

Lets face it, we all wanted the Honda 2200... until we saw the price. It starts very easily, the body is tough and it uses very little fuel. I run the caravan AC, battery 35amp charger and coffee machine off it simultaneously. We dont run the genset for 5 minutes, its often left on over night until it runs out of fuel. The 'eco' setting wont run while the ac is being used so its abit noisy. We "free" camp along remote trails in the outback so anoying others isnt a concern.Is it quiet... no, not compared to the Honda. However its far quieter than the 15yo GMC genset it replaced.An electrician by trade, the power is clean and steady, the motor handles with ease load shifts
Excellent price for the benefit. 1 full tank lasted around 10 hours. Used it for our fridge, TV , nbn and charged our devices.It was a bit noisy for us but still better than not having electricity.
I bought this a couple months prior to the 2022 Lismore floods. This generator worked for 8 hours every day for 8 days while we didn’t have power. It didn’t miss a beat. I run it every month for 30mins & works great. However, it doesn’t love restarting when hot & I find you have to give it some time to cool down before it will restart. Was a pain at first but now I know that quirk I’m happy to live with it! Run time on eco mode was 6 – 8 hours depending on loads.I recommend this generator!
Bought for prolonged blackout. Powered fridge, tv, hot water, light bar and a few phones no trouble. Is it noisy? Well it’s probably just a little quieter than a petrol lawnmower on idle. Does the job and lasts about 6.5 hours on a tank. First time start.

I bought this at the start of the QLD floods in Feb22, just before all the roads were cut off. We had the generator running around 16 hours per day for 10 days, without any issues, using about 8 litres of fuel per day. Was able to run a large Fridge/Freezer, 2 modems, a laptop, and 2 x 40" TV's without any worries, plus occassionally the microwave and water-cooker, although I'd disconnect everything else to run those last 2 power guzzlers. Overall, very happy with the purchase as it did exactly what we needed.
Do NOT buy this lemon. Bought it after a prolonged power failure in rural SE Qld to keep the fridge and freezer going, as well as AC for fixed wireless and modem. Ran it for testing for about 5 hours, then stored in shed for emergencies.Next mains power failure, got the gen set out - NO START. Changed out fuel for fresh ULP, changed out plug - still no go. Luckily, mains came back on before food spoiled.It was just out of 12 months warranty, but took it back to Bunnings anyway, thinking there must be some trick to getting it to go. Bunnings guy, who seemed to have some smarts with these things, had no more success in starting it than me. Left it with them and walked out, $800 poorer but wiser. They can sort out the environmental disposal.
