Nice weight and comfortable to hold, but poorer in use than the Victorinox paring knives that cost less than one-fifth of the price of the Furi. Try both on peeling a kiwifruit, for instance. Iโm glad I bought just one of these and eight of the Victorinox.

Balance = Good Look= Good Steel= Good Sharp= It is now. Edge at 18 to 20 degrees with 1200 grit diamond and leather strop with fine white aluminum oxide. Polished edge. Creamy feel when cutting. This knife is perfect for the kitchen. Most simple paring jobs are easily handled with this. I like the feel and the authority it has when used. It takes an edge easily. I purchased two of these now. One as a gift for my daughter and this one is mine. We both like it and use it almost every day.
I've had mine for 2 yrs nearly and they get used multiple times a day for food prep and are still going incredibly strong. No rust spots, no permanently dull blades. Definitely no regrets with purchase.

Bought as a gift for someone for whom I also bought a larger Furi "chopping" knife. Well-packaged, shipped quickly, will likely buy one for myself. Very fine craftsmanship, very sharp, holds edge well - not as fine as carbon steel but sharp enough. Expect this will be used by childrens' grandchildren.

A great knife and addition to the stable, I use this for prepping food of all sorts from veges to dicing meat and cutting onions. It's a well balanced knife with a sure grip. It fits ergonomically and snugly in the hand making dicing and chopping too easy. Well worth the investment at its current price
