This knife looks good and performs great. Cutting through large vegetables, zucchini, turnip etc, is a breeze. Slicing a tomato paper thin is a nice ability to have. Meat can be cut as thin or as thick as you’d like. Over all this was well worth the price as it’s a ‘buy it for life’ purchase.

This is a phenomenally beautiful knife. The blade decoration and handle are artwork.Exceptionally crafted, ridiculously sharp and the perfect addition to the nice collection! My wife is especially fond of it’s smaller size for delicate slicing tasks- yet it is sharp and tough enough for even much larger tasks.Highly recommended!

This knife along with the other 4 in the pic below are the best knives we have ever purchased and are a huge support and leader to our German knives we own.
This is my second Miyabi SG2 Birchwood knife. They are well made, light, easy to take care (compared to some other Japanese knives) and fit my hand perfectly.
This small knife is great for in-service knifework, really quick to cut up a few things during orders. Extremely precise for doing pairing type work. Overall great addition to my set. Fits the gap very well.
Fast and easy purchase. Sharpest knife I have ever used. Beautiful product. I now own several Miyabi knives.
The knife is the sharpest I have ever used, it is such a pleasure to work with in the kitchen and makes preparing food even more enjoyable, as a cabinet maker that hand sharpens his own chisels I appreciate sharpness and the quality of metal in these knifes
I bought this knife for my son’s 14th birthday which happens to fall on thanksgiving. He was able to show off his knife skills in the kitchen to everyone there. He did all the prep work for the entire feast and promised to cut the turkey next year when he gets the larger matching knife. What do ya know, a chef is born!
I bought the knife for my daughter’s birthday and she only got it last night. She has been so envious of mine and has told everyone it is not to be taken or used by anyone but herself. She is in charge of Christmas dinner and can’t wait to have a knife that cuts so beautifully.
