Furminator Undercoat Deshedding Tool, for Medium/Large Cats, Short Hair

One of my cats sheds a lot during the warmer months! It has became an annoyance to be cleaning up after her. I tried furminator and shedding has greatly improved. I made sure to introduce this to my cat in a non stressful environment so she doesn't get traumatized by it. It doesn't seem to bother her! She doesn't run away or hide. I make sure to give her a treat after!

I LOVE this tool. My cat sheds a LOT as hes a ginger tabby, and while its annoying for me to clean, it also causes hairball issues with him. Slicker brushes are a great daily tool, but it requires lots of strokes and i find myself using my hand to brush and pick up everything the brush has loosened. the furminator works incredibly well to pull out all the excess shed and hair that just wont get picked up with a brush. The eject button removes hair from the brush quickly. Tbh i havent had to replace the blades yet and ive had mine a few years. Just be mindful it shouldnt be used daily as it can irritate the skin. Add this to your grooming routine weekly and you’ll notice a huge difference.

This is a MUST have for any cat owner. This product has SAVED my clothes, furniture, and my sanity. This is a great de-shedding tool for your cat. It truly does remove all the extra fur. I never realized how much I needed this product until I had it. This has immensely stopped the amount of fur my cat sheds and helps to keep fur from appearing all around my house. I found definitely recommend this to any pet owner who has an animal who sheds very frequently.

Well first let me start by saying, yes this product is definitely EXPENSIVE! But also, oh so worth it! We have two long hair, BLACK cats. So when I say I have cat ha8r everywhere, I mean it. My friends even have my cat's hair at their house! This product has been a lifesaver! It works so well. The handle grip is so comfortable, especially with someone who has carpel tunnel syndrome. It has a "furejector" which gets all the hair out of the brush is immediately. Plus, it's safe for my 4 year old son to use because the brush itself isn't sharp enough to hurt him, but enough to really get the tangles out of my cat's hair. There isn't one bad thing I could say about this. Well, maybe a sale every once in a while, but honestly SO WORTH IT!!!

I had to come leave a review to warn people.The brush is great. The best brush I've ever had BUT BE CAREFUL it will rip your cats whiskers off. DO NOT BRUSH THERE FACE. I accidentally brushed over top of the whiskers you cant really see and it ripped them right out ! 3 times I accidentally did it ! he didnt seem to mind like it didnt hurt him but still. but other than that its awesome !

This was way out of my original price point but I read the reviews and looked at some youtube videos and figured I'd give it a go.My cat hasn't been well (she's been at the vets this week and is on antibiotics) and doesn't usually even let us brush her at the best of times but she let me have a go for a good 10 minutes and even purred. I only did her from shoulders to the beginning of her tail and was not using much pressure but I ended up with a handful of fur (not fluffed up, I mean compacted). I wish I had have taken a photo but I put it in the bin. It really works!

I have a short haired cat who has a frequent hairball problem. We have made adjustments to his food and his food dishes, as well as given him special treats to remedy the issue, but those don't address the root cause - too much fur!This brush not only has helped reduce his hairball production, but has significantly reduced the amount of cat hair that flies around my home. I could tell a huge difference immediately after the first use, as there is usually a lot of fur that flies off of him at the end of a brushing session. With the FURminator, that didn't happen!As a side benefit, his fur looks extra soft and shiny, which means he looks even cuter in the thousands of photos I take of him. Obligatory cat tax included.

I ordered the Furminator online and picked it up at my local Petco store yesterday. I used it today and the results were incredible! My cat let me brush her for about 40 minutes and the Furminator combed out enough hair to make a fur coat! I couldn't believe the amount of hair that it was able to comb out. My cat absolutely loved it! She sat on the couch and allowed me to brush her coat with it and even switched sides when I needed to brush her the side she was laying on. My cat loves it and so do I! I highly recommend this product! It is an amazing grooming tool and a must have for any cat owner!

Pretty cool

I have a chonk. Enough said. He is a big boy, so naturally I took him to the vet and was informed that he wasn't grooming properly. Which makes sense, he probably cant reach like he should, most likely. I always noticed he had excess "fur" laying on his "fur" but didnt think much of it until the vet said he also had dandruff. I got this to try to help him with his hygiene. Works pretty good! I've been seeing alot less "fur sitting on his fur" on his back. He doesn't seem to mind me using it but I have noticed he likes the feeling of the glove grooming tool I have more, but he still doesn't mind using it. I get off good amounts of hair. I need to get a 2nd for my other two cats. Also his coat looks shiny. Very revitalized ! Would reccomend.

Works Great

I just got it very recently and used once for my two cats. One has thick short hair and the other one has average shot hair). I was able to remove large amount of hair from the cat has thick hair. Worked good for thin hair cat though I got weigh less hair out than the other cat. Just be aware this product is heavier than comb or brush and be careful not to drop it on cats or hurt them accidentally. I was scared to use my cats' throat or abdomen. I was not able to use my cats' whole body well, and I need to get used to use this furminator little by little every week. I am hoping this furminator elimintates excess hair from my cats and my cats can go back to regular cat food instead of hair ball control cat food.
