Furminator Undercoat Deshedding Tool For Cats Medium/Large Long Hair

I LOVE this tool. My cat sheds a LOT as hes a ginger tabby, and while its annoying for me to clean, it also causes hairball issues with him. Slicker brushes are a great daily tool, but it requires lots of strokes and i find myself using my hand to brush and pick up everything the brush has loosened. the furminator works incredibly well to pull out all the excess shed and hair that just wont get picked up with a brush. The eject button removes hair from the brush quickly. Tbh i havent had to replace the blades yet and ive had mine a few years. Just be mindful it shouldnt be used daily as it can irritate the skin. Add this to your grooming routine weekly and you’ll notice a huge difference.

The Furminator tool works like a charm on ridding your cats undercoat and loose hair, which means less hair on your black pants. 😁. I've got 2 Ragdolls and they shed pretty good. I use this tool daily and it greatly reduces their shedding hairball gacking. The handle of the tool is very comfortable to hold and has a strong grip. The blades are made of stainless steel. The only downfall of the tool is that the teeth of the blade isn't very long at all, so you have to constantly empty the hair off the end of the teeth. These are expensive, but it is an awesome tool that I highly recommend. 🐈🐱

I absolutely love this brush as it helps get the most stubborn knots out of my very fluffy guy. He’s pretty patient for his brushing, but those knots that form on the sides of his neck (where he can’t reach to groom) can cause quite a battle between us. This brush really helps to get out those deep knots that are close to the skin with little pain. Though he doesn’t like it, he tolerates me pulling them out with this brush. I would absolutely recommend for those kitties with extra fine bunny-like hair.

I had to come leave a review to warn people.The brush is great. The best brush I've ever had BUT BE CAREFUL it will rip your cats whiskers off. DO NOT BRUSH THERE FACE. I accidentally brushed over top of the whiskers you cant really see and it ripped them right out ! 3 times I accidentally did it ! he didnt seem to mind like it didnt hurt him but still. but other than that its awesome !

Best cat brush ever

Love this brush! I tryed alot of brushes for my cat and none compared to this brush! She is a short hair cat. Just gave birth and she is shedding like crazy. I tryed brushing her with other brushes. Bairly worked. But now! I got this brush and saved my poor house. 10000% on board!

I bought this brush for my boyfriends cat about 2 months ago. The cat is a black domestic longhair, and his previous owner hadn't cared for his fur. My boyfriend bought him a cheap brush, and when he hated it profusely, my boyfriend just gave up. He had a large buildup of matts all over him, the worst of them on his lower back and hind legs. Working for about 5-10 minutes at a time, every 3 or 4 days, we gave him a good brushing all over. He tolerated it in the areas that weren't too bad, but since his matts were so bad that they pulled his skin, we had to hold his scruff for the tougher areas to keep him still. 2 months later and his body is 100% matt free, the only ones left are on his tail (his previous owners apparently had children that carried him around by ... MoreI bought this brush for my boyfriends cat about 2 months ago. After each session and his treats, he takes a moment to straighten his fur again and is then a visibly more happy cat. This brush not only helped to shave out the matts on his skin and desheds the excess fur to prevent the buildup of more matts, but its gentle enough that his skin is not at risk of being cut or scratched too roughtly. This brush is incredible and made our cat more comfortable in his own skin. 100% recommend for long haired cats with knots or matts, even with sensitive skin.

CAT OWNERS NEED THIS!

I have a domestic medium hair/maine coone mix. He is 3 years old and at least 20 lbs. He loves being brushed, but I found that no matter how much I brushed him, he never seemed to run out of hair! I saw the Furminator M/L at Target and decided to pick it up & give it a try. It was expensive so I was hoping it worked. OH, IT WORKS!!! My cat loves this brush and I do too! It got so much hair out of his coat (see pictures). I would definitely recommend if you have a big cat or a medium/long coat kitty.

Is it worth it? YES.

As much as I hate how expensive it is, I understand why. My cat has never been classified as a “long hair” cat, but I recently did a DNA test and found out she has several long haired cat breeds in her. The clumps of hair I got out with this brush was beyond what I was expecting. And usually, she gets really agitated if I brush her for too long, but she was loving every second. It didn’t seem to hurt her or bother her and she purred the whole time. Beyond satisfied with my purchase.

Love the Furminators, have a suggestion

We bought 2 medium cat tools, one for long hair, one for short. There is no way to easily tell them apart. The tiny tiny letters and numbers on the blade are no help since they don't correspond with any numbers on the box, insert, or this site. I'm guessing the 23B45 and the 30C45 correspond to # of teeth in the comb, but without knowing which is which, it's no help. I'll be writing 'long' and 'short' on them as soon as I find out which is which. My suggestion is that Furminator either place these numbers on the box, or better yet, print 'long' and 'short' on the combs.
