GForm ProRugged 2 Knee Guards New Technology next Generation. The new ProRugged Guards 2 from GForm combine thanks to the novel laminate with EVA + Smartflex foam + Armortex wearing comfort, increased protection, lightweight and small pack volume. The GForm ProRugged 2 knee protector is probably the lightest (about 350g / pair / L) and most comfortable protector in its category, with even increased protection. Equally unmatched small might be its pack size (ca.16x8cm, 'L'). The RPT polymer foam hardens upon impact within milliseconds and absorbs up to 90% of the energy. After the fall, the foam immediately becomes soft and supple again. The soft, elastic RPT foam is overlaminated with a Kevlar fabric and underlaid with supple EVA and is sewn onto a fine, yet robust and breathable Lycra stocking, so the GForm protector nestles around the knee almost like a second skin. GForm protectors are significantly less sweaty than conventional protectors, but still protect the knees effectively from the cold. Since there is hardly any weight and thanks to the wide rubberized finishes GForm protectors hardly slip. For additional support and adjustability, an elastic band is attached to the upper end which provides even better support and individual adjustability.
