I got this watch because I needed to have 5 separate alarms each day, also I didn't want to spend a lot. The watch has in the main, been just what I wanted. There are some plusses and some minuses for me, nothing major, but worth mentioning. Plus: Watch is solar powered, so the battery will never go flat. Plus: the LCD section allows you to access a reasonable selection of functions Plus: The hands are white and quite clear to see even in poor light. Plus: It seems well built and tough. Nope of the minuses are a deal breaker for me and apart from the feeling of the slightly chunky watch on my wrist I was aware of exactly what I was going to get when I bought it. For the price and the functionality it would be hard to beat, on top of that it's a Casio and that's a brand I feel you can rely on. So bottom line, as long as you know what you are getting and are happy with it, buy one. I would buy one again if I needed to.

This is one of Casio's best watches, in my opinion. It's got everything you need in a survival watch and more. I can highly recommend it. I bought this replacement Casio watchband to replace the original that lasted on my Mudman almost 15 years! Hopefully this replacement holds up that long or more. I'm confident since this is an authentic Casio band. It looks and feels everything like the original. However my original band was from Casio Japan; however, this replacement came from Casio Thailand. Small difference that I'm willing to overlook because I'm happy with my purchase. I will definitely purchase again once this replacement watchband gives me over a decade of use like the original.
Great watch! This is my second one. These watched will take all the abuse you can throw at them and will keep on going. I love Tough Solar battery. My original went over a decade without needing replacement. The multi band 5 radio signal feature is equally as great. No need to ever mess with setting the time or adjusting for daylight savings!
Been a Casio ProTrek wearer for a while now. Decided to get something a little bigger. The Mudmaster certainly delivered. Bold and sophisticated. I wear it in the office. This is a very comfortable watch to wear. The SGS variant is cheaper but doesn't include the sensors. It does however come with solar, which is a good tradeoff in my opinion. Once your collection grows to 5 or 6 watches - tracking down batteries and changing them ever 2 years becomes a hassle. Very happy with this purchase, and can recommend the Mudmaster for anyone looking for a man-sized watch for daily use.
The watch has several useful features but the backlight doesn't light the whole face of the watch as advertised; it only lights the digital counter, which remains difficult to read in the dark, since the numbers of the digital counter are too small. The worst part about this watch is the complexity of installing it with all its features. The accompanied manual is not written for people with less than superior intelligence and vision. I am a philosopher and a logician who has a PhD and who authored several complex and technical books. I could hardly read the fine print of the manual; and when I did, I wasn't able to understand most of the manual. I found the English and the instructions it was trying to convey incomprehensible. The manual is extremely poorly written. ... This watch beats them all for value, with most costing 3 to 7 times the price and only Citizen providing a good long term experience. Appearance is a personal thing, but i love this mix of analog & digital. Not too many functions to complicate things (Multiple Alarms, Date, Stopwatch, timer, light, Solar recharge and high enough waterproof rating to safely swim and shower with) and its no were near as hard to get used to using each function as some reviews indicate. I collect G Shocks and currently have about 27 of them. I normally wear a different watch each day. But this one seems to be getting a lot more wrist time than the others. It's a good sized watch but extremely comfortable. I really prefer solar models and this one is one of those. It charges qick and once fully charge it stays that way from daily or even occasional use. One reason for that is it doesn't have all the extra sensors to use up battery life. I highly recommend this model for anyone that wants a nice rugged watch that will not need a battery change for many years. Just beware, there are a lot of fakes out there but plenty of videos showing how to easily spot them.

That was, until I bought my Casio G shock Mudmaster. This watch is terrible if you are a watch guy. It has become the only damn watch I wear and that's terrible. Especially if you have boxes full of watches. I never liked digital or smart watches. I am a true aficionado of analog watches. This watch is the best of both worlds it combines analog and digital and still looks ruggedly awesome. it is an amazingly great all-around watch.
