1st one DOA, second one is working just fine.

Overall it works as expected for the money paid. I got it for my test build to overclock so it was worth it to me to go through the RMA process. RMA was painless and easy with no trouble great customer service. Advice of the day: Always run memory test when adding RAM just to make sure that it works. Wait couple weeks before overclocking it just to be sure that it's not gonna die in that time.

2 days of blue screen memory errors in Windows 10

Added the 2 new memory modules to the wife's pc, started getting blue screens in Win10 pretty quickly. Spent some time running memory tests and hardware errors were detected, so I started swapping out each one until I identified the bad one. After removing it from the pc, it's running smoothly at this point but with only 8gb of the 16gb I hoped for. I have purchased Gskill memory a few times in the past with good results, but this time it looks like I didn't get so lucky.

Errors out of the box - but, no, just errors

After playing with timings and such I kept getting errors on test and random BSOD in windows. I finally inched the voltage up a bit and the errors went away. I have it set at 1.22V and I no longer seem to have a problem. Going to have to make a note of it for when the BIOS eventually gets set to optimized or some such. EDIT: The errors did not go away, just went down to about 4 per 24/hours.

For the price can you really complain?

This ram is not the faster you'll ever use but for it's price point and it's decent value I would recommend it for budget computers. If you can afford more gigs get it. But clearly see what your motherboard supports. I paired this with "ASUS PRIME H310M-E R2.0 LGA 1151" I forgot to check the support ram list but it boots. Works just fine. Speed is decent. Great product.

Great Memory, Recommended for My New Motherboard
24 June 2020

G.Skill always has an excellent product, without excessive cost. I spent a lot of time looking around for this exact model number as MSI recommended it for the motherboard that I recently obtained. Some other generic RAM was working O.K., but I wanted something that would be optimized for the M/B hardware and integrate with memory management. I bought two of these 8GB units, removed the generic RAM, and put these in. The system has been running much more smoothly ever since. Well worth the search, and glad to have found this RAM on Newegg!

Great RAM, doesn't always play nice with others.
8 October 2021

I used to have 32GB of Crucial DDR4 2133CT8G4DFS8213. I cleaned out the dust from my case and bricked a stick of RAM in the process. I bought 5 stick of the G.Skill to replace the missing stick and then max out my MB at 64GB My system would not boot with any combination of the Crucial and the G.Skill. I realized my initial issue was trying to use 1 unmatched stick on a quad channel motherboard. After though even in proper pairings the RAM types would not mix. I eventually bought 3 more sticks and just replaced all the ram with G.Skill.

It works!
16 January 2017

I'm not going to overclock this CPU+RAM combo, so can't tell anything else about it. I bought this stick to troubleshoot my infinite loop issue on the above mentioned motherboard while I had only one another Crucial RAM stick of this type. I have trusted this brand over the years and it has never failed me! It helped me get my system to boot up normally. My setup: MB: GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2H CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K Heatsink: Noctua NH-U14S RAM: 1x Crucial 8GB DDR4 2133 CT8G4DFD8213 1x G.SKILL Aegis 8GB DDR4 2133 F4-2133C15S-8GIS PSU: SeaSonic Platinum Series SS-400FL2 (400W) Main GPU: GTX 1060 6GB Case: Antec 300 Illusion HDD: SAMSUNG 840 Pro

No XMP?
11 August 2020

G.skill is my go to ram supplier. I have ripjaws, tridents and value series and now some of this kit. It’s always worked great, except for this stick which came without any XMP profiles preloaded. Which means I may have to try my own timings and sub timings and for my use case (mATX server running FreeNAS), timings aren’t critical. But if I knew it wouldn’t have XMP I wouldn’t have paid the extra few bucks for 2666 and just gotten 2400 speed. G.skill seems to check on these reviews from time to time so hopefully they reach out because while XMP is a convenience feature, if you advertise it, it better be available. I am using an Athlon 3000G, but the previous G.skill Value ram I had installed had XMP profiles so it’s not the motherboard or processor being incompatible.

One stick died after a week, so now am down to one stick out of the two.
22 December 2021

I bought this ram to upgrade my PC to 32GB, and it was working great for about a week. Now one is dead, and I am down too 24GB. Not really worth the trouble to get a refund or mess with unless the second stick dies. Checked too see if it was compatibility, and the stick won't boot in any of my rigs.... Second stick is still fine ATM.

Worked for 6 hours then constant crashes
17 April 2020

So I was super happy to get 3 of these and start playing cod without any trouble. After hours of gaming I was just relaxing on discord and my computer crashed with blue error code. Each time it would boot up it began crashing over and over again with a different error code each time. Now I'm just done with it and don't get why it's doing it... I tested each alone for an hour and they all worked, when I placed them all together it worked for a day and a half and now it's crashing constantly again before I even hit in the log in screen. I have a MSI B450 A PRO mother board and it said these were compatible with it...I'm so annoyed right now...
