When you are in BIOS, you will have to change memory to XPO II and the RAM will be working with AMD AM5 motherboard and works with AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU as well.

Purchased with the release of the new AMD processors 6 months ago. I didn't know it at the time but my RAM was causing a ton of stability issues. Eventually couldn't boot my PC, and it caused my OS to be corrupted. Replaced with RAM, with identical specs, from another manufacturer and computer has been fine ever since. Wouldn't buy unless it was at a HEAVY discount.

I built my computer in December and now in March the RAM is done, it failed memtest instantly and spectacularly. My RAM was likely a defective unit as I had unusual problems throughout my 3 months with it. I know GSkill is generally trusted for RAM so I'm just gonna say I was probably the unlucky guy that got a rare defective unit. I got it for free in a microcenter promotion so I can't be too mad about it. At least it lasted me long enough to see better prices for DDR5 memory.

The labeling could be far better for DOCP or XMP versioning. While the DOCP does 'Work' on Intel, getting DOCP working is not as simple as turning it on.
This RAM runs at the advertised speed and timings, but only after updating the BIOS for my Asus X670E TUF Gaming motherboard. Prior to that, I would get BSOD while loading into Windows, or shortly after launching a few programs. After the update, all is smooth sailing. Amazing since Micro Center was running a promotion that gave this RAM free with a processor purchase. Wasn't expecting much, but runs just fine without any issues.
As another reviewer noted, this kit can be unstable unless it is run at the proper specs. I also had random reboots and lockups. I have an ASRock board and setting it to use the EXPO profile fixed my issues and memory tests no longer show errors.
