Now with 64 gigs designed with my Ryzen 12 core in mind this thing is a monster, extremely fast and no issues at all. And for the price it's definitely a good deal, highly recommended.

I can't give a proper review as I was not able to get this to work despite being part of the QVL for the motherboards I had used. A corsair pair of RAM ended up resolving my issues after RMA'ing 2 motherboards using this RAM (both sticks were dead on arrival as I did single stick testing on each motherboard). On top of that I had ordered 2 sets of RAM from NewEgg and had to return one set (before finding out the other set was dead) and had to pay re-stock fee as G.Skill support stated it was not recommended to pair 2x separate 32 GB sets. They suggested I would have had to get a separate kit that came with all 4 sticks in one package and that had different timings entirely and was more expensive as only the 32 GB sets were on sale. TL:DR I switched Corsair after using G.Skill for the last 12 years, the support forums have really gone down the drain since my last build and they never responded to my e-mail.

Engineered and Optimized for ANY system!
19 August 2021

I picked up this kit from my local store in NJ open box, for about $50 cheaper. My current rig already had 32GBs of 3600mhz ram, but two available slots still. I didn't necessarily need to upgrade, but at the price I figured, why not. My system now has 64GBs of ram, and Ill be good for a longggg time to come. The packaging and kit is branded as "Engineered and Optimized for full compatibility on the latest AMD Ryzen 300 series processors." Don't be fooled by marketing like this. I'm using this kit with an Intel Core i7-7700k and an Asrock Killer Z270 motherboard. Whether you're using AMD or Intel, there is no difference.

As much as I loved these RAM modules and I thought they looked absolutely beautiful with my system, I wouldn't recommend this kit or any of the Trident Z Neo kits to anyone. I received the memory and the system POSTed and seemingly booted just fine and I was really happy to have such beautiful memory and a working system. That was until I noticed that my computer kept crashing, BSODing, failing to install programs or updates and eventually was unable to re-install Windows. After running both Windows Memory Diagnostic and Memtest86+ I discovered that both stick were immediately returning errors after trying them in all 4 DIMM Slots on my board and even in a separate system. This experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth for G.Skill and their Trident Z Neo lineup especially since I've seen similar reviews about dead memory on other SKUs from this lineup. Maybe I was just unlucky however, if you're going to buy Trident Z Neos, hope for the best but, prepare for the worst.

Good Memory... Missing software...
12 September 2020

It's RAM, and it's performing as expected. Is it the fastest, probably not, is it the slowest, definitely not. My one peeve is the item under cons. I built this system with RGB LEDs all over the place. This includes: Corsair H100i Platinum SE Liquid Cooler Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Case ( ATX-Mid) ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming Motherboard EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Ftw3 Hybrid Gaming It would be nice if any of the software for controlling them, could control all of them. The Corsair iCUE works with all the corsair stuff and the motherboard, but the ram requires a program from G.Skill and it didn't mention that anywhere when I got the modules that I aw. Once I got their software the RAM RGB worked fine, but it's still not exactly in sync with the rest of the system.

Mixed Reviews/Expectations

I was surprised that other users that have my board type and this RAM have gotten it to clock at 3600MHz but I also see some that can only clock at 2133MHz so I did some research. On Asrocks website if you look at the compatibility list for the x570 Steel Legend WIF AX this ram IS NOT listed in there (F4-3600C18D-32GTZN). In the specs of the description of this RAM it doesnt state that it is XMP 2.0 compatible and when I enabled it either it didnt work or threw beep codes at me and took me back to the bios screen. If you are getting an Asrock board I would go with another type of RAM then this one. Too hit or miss according to the reviews I have seen and I have not seen a way to get this to clock at 3600MHz without compromising stability. Its stable at 2133MHz but with a 1071ti, X570 board, 3800X Ryzen, EVO Plus M.2, I dont want to have a bottle neck with high performance RAM operating at 1500MHZ less than designed.

Nice RGB addition to the PC
18 May 2021

Super easy to install. Make sure you go into your BIOS and set the max frequency, in my case 3600mhz to get your money's worth. Real easy to do. The RGB lighting adds a nice little touch to my PC, as I don't have much RGB to begin with. Not bright but not dim at all, nice balance. Fast RAM, not sluggish in anyway. At some point 32GB is going to be the sweet spot and if it isn't right now, it's still nice to know you have plenty of headroom to keep other applications running in the background.

Nice, But Not Great
6 October 2020

I needed to go 32gb because of MSFS 2020 and this set seemed like a decent buy. I didn't think it would be the much better performing Samsung B-Die, but I had hopes for at least a little OC'ing headroom. This set won't don't anything.....actually pretty disappointing for GSKill ram. You can't change ANYTHING and still be able to boot. No timing changes, not speed changes...you can change Voltage, that's about it. Hindsight being 20/20, should have held on to my Viper 4000(B-die). I will say this in defense though. I don't really see much of a drop in performance in gaming compared to my GSKill Trident Z(3400) running at 3666CL16 though. Of course, games are usually GPU bound, so that makes sense. Overall....just a meh set of ram, not great, not horrible....just 3 Eggs.

The difference between my old RAM and this new RAM is eye brow raising'. The boot up speed was somewhat faster but using my video program the loading and handling of intense graphics was remarkable. I'll be getting two more of these in the near future.
