I purchased this machine in March 2021, worked okay for a year or so and then issues started, bean grinder replaced, milk carafe issue (ongoing), drink dispensing amount (ongoing), don't buy this machine.

The coffee is great, operation is simple, the manual take a little to dig through good quality beens make great coffee! Perfect home or small office machine. Large cups fit well under dispenser, one thing can’t do two cups with auto milk, minor design constraint.Easy to use once all setup and calibrated / adjusted. 5* after that!

I spent a lot of time researching coffee machines to find the one perfect device.. and this is it. I can program the amount of coffee and milk froth for my large coffee mugs.It's very easy to use and easy to clean. I love the bypass for my decaf after my caffeinated beans.The only one gripe I have is sometimes when using the bypass I just get water and no coffee and have to put another scoop in, but this is probably something I've done wrong.Highly recommended.
This Gaggia machine is truly the ants pants, love everything about it. Have not found one thing I dislike so far.
Was going off the taste of pod coffee so decided to go back to a machine that grinds its own coffee beans! This Gaggia Anima machine is really great and supplies a great coffee So glad I decided to purchase this coffee machine.
I had the Gaggia Classic for over 15 years of happy brewing until my separate grinder died and repair costs began to mount. Thus the Anima purchase. To date, I am extremely happy I did so. Not only does it look good, but it functions so easily and simply. Though still a little noisy, it is so much quieter than my previous combination, and the aroma and taste are worth the purchase cost. Good job, Gaggia. Looking forward to many years of spoiling myself.
This machine is EXCELLENT. Brilliant value, easy to use, compact footprint for type of machine - and it makes terrific coffee with thick crema. Minimal wash up and fussing, my children are 19 & 22 and also enjoy using this machine. Highly recommend this.
The Gaggia looks great with stainless steel front, and is relatively small, so doesn’t take up a lot of space. The one touch buttons are great as is the easy button programming.A bit fiddly to get to milk frothing only function, but it’s a minor trade off for the ability to self clean the milk carafe. I always use the milk carafe so the clean function is a real winner.Very happy.
Mistakenly thought I was buying a quality brand with Gaggia! Instead, the bottom tray leaked waste water on to the bench from new (discovered there was a pin hole in the tray from the plastic injection moulding point. Temporarily fixed with some glue.) Then after a week away, turned on the machine but the dispensing spout kept falling to its lowest position. Once the machine is warmed up it stays up (for now at least). Finally, the machine intermittently makes a horrible squealing sound during the cycle when it is dispensing the coffee liquid. I'm waiting for this to become permanent so I can return the machine under warranty. (I'm hoping the model is okay and that I just got a lemon) On the positive side, it actually makes a great cup of coffee.
