New Super Mario Bros U is a great game that brings the classic mario experience to a new batch of world's to explore. Up to 4player couch coop. The version which has New Luigi U has about 100 extra challenge maps, as well as about 100 gameplay videos showing you secret coins or just other impressive feats. Worth grabbing I'd you like 2D Mario games.

I have a bias because I have always loved the Mario Bros. games from Nintendo. This one is no exception, and the graphics are incredible! If you really enjoy the left to right screen play, this game will not disappoint. What I love about this Nintendo game is the simplicity of controls. The game gets more challenging without my needing to learn how to use 6 or so buttons on the controller. The world view is far better than previous iterations.

Just like MK8's Blue Shell, this is a good and bad thing. If you are mixing kids and adults in one game, it's nice to know the kids have a chance of winning without having to 'let' them win. But for competitive gamers like me, it can be frustrating to consistently win all the mini-games but still finish dead last (grrr!). Fortunately, the game is incredibly fun regardless of if you win or not.One of the best features in any Mario Party game is the in-game store. It allows you to have something to work towards as you play through the various game modes and earn coins, drastically extending replay value. You can purchase and unlock new characters, music, harder CPU difficulty, vechicles, etc. MP10 also has a large list of challenges (a.k.a. achievements or trophies for Xbox/PlayStation owners) that give you extra objectives to work towards, and allow you to earn coins even faster.

really enjoy these games, New Super Mario Bros U more than the Luigi one (all of the levels are on a fast timer, so you have to run). I've been a fan of Mario since the 80's, my husband as well, we both had the NES. While I haven't played all Mario games, I find this one to be the most challenging. In each level, you collect 3 large star coins, some of them are hidden REALLY well. The ghost house levels are challenging too, I could see it being harder for a child to get through some of the levels. My #1 gripe is the "Death Pause" during multi-player gaming. I can't even count the number of times I have died because the screen frozen right before a jump. The freeze is for about 1/2 a second, but it can be the difference between running and jumping and running and ... Morereally enjoy these games, New Super Mario Bros U more than the Luigi one (all of the levels are on a fast timer, so you have to run). This game is great! It puts me in mind of Super Mario Bros for super Nintendo. The only reason I docked a star is because it is not exactly a 2 player but it is. You have to have a wii u controller and game pad. The controller has to be player 1 which is Mario and the game pad is player 2... player 2 is blocks. Not a character. It's a cool idea for an adult game but younger kids can't really understand how to play. So I recommend having kids take turns or else the parents will have to play every time. I love it though. Just a little advanced for younger ages.
I liked this version.Revisit the Mushroom Kingdom in all its side-scrolling glory in New Super Mario Bros. U. The revolutionary Wii U GamePad controller's capabilities make it possible for multiplayer action to be incorporated into this game in a way that few could have imagined. Each replayable and satisfying course is full of new challenges and adventures, and there's no time to waste, since each course features a time limit of just 100 seconds. Switch it up and play as Nabbit, Luigi's new friend, who is invincible to enemies and obstacles. Level up your New Super Mario Bros. U experience with more than 80 brand-new courses in New Super Luigi U, which takes place in the same world, but doesn't require the game to play. Welcome back to the addicting, bizarre and amazing Super Mario Bros. franchise.
This game is a lot better than the previous New Super Mario Bros games were. The levels are designer very well, staying interesting the whole way through. Similar to New Mario Wii, this game also supports 4 players. Additionally, a 5th person can choose to use the Game Pad to create blocks for the other players to jump on (or stop enemies and hazards). This package also includes the Luigi DLC, which is almost like a whole new game itself. Despite only being a sidescrolling title, it looks really great since it's in HD and has Nintendo's colorful charm to it. It still looks good when played on the SD Game Pad screen, too.
If you've played a New Super Mario Bros game before, you know what you're getting here. There are of course new levels in the main Mario campaign, but this addition of the game also has a campaign just for Luigi too, and in this version, the overall layout of the map is the same, but the levels are shorter and more challenging. Oh, and Mario isn't playable, a second player can choose to be a near invincible Nabbit, and Luigi's controls are modified to so he has less traction but better jumping skills. Overall, this package is a great bang for your buck due to the second campaign, though it's not exactly doing anything truly different from the Wii New Super Mario.
It’s In perfect condition and looks great!! Disk is not scratched. in the console and it runs beautifully I recommend anyone to buy this sense the Eshop one is 60$ while this is almost half price and it’s two games in one honestly a steal
This game feels very much like the real successor to Super Mario World. You know, the one that introduced Yoshi, Switch Palaces, and secret level exits when you find the key. My all time favorite Mario Game. Then Super Mario World 2 happened, and it was horrible, with the baby Yoshi and weird juvenile graphics. Horrible. As far as I'm concerned this is the real sequel, and it's amazing. I'm not really into the multiplayer stuff, but the single player gameplay is great.Highly recommend, and I'm excited to see what Luigi mode brings.
