I was going to give this monitor a 5star review but after only 2 weeks I have 1 dead pixel. So for $1050 + tax that's quite disappointing. I'm luckily in my return window so I'll get my money back and wait for newer tech. Would love a 500hz Oled with backlight strobing (one day). Asus continues to let us down.

Ive been through 4 monitors the last monitor. The alienware oled, asus 4k 42in oled, samsung neo g8 and acer predator 32in 4k. I just wasnt happy with them at all. They were my first 4k and oled monitors. Ive always used asus ips 170, 270 and now this 360hz. It is amazing. I was nervous getting it open box but too my suprise it was in very good condition. One small scratch on the feet in the back. Cant even see it. Best thing tho. No dead pixels! No backlight bleeding. Dont know why this monitor was returned it is beautiful. I highly recommend. I also got the 3yr accidental warranty just in case.yes oled looks great but i needed higher refresh rates the other monitors couldnt give. The neo g8? Ya i dont even wanna talk about it. Absolute S tier monitor with elite response times. A bit of a lesson for inexperienced purchasers: high refresh rates are (somewhat) meaningless without industry leading response times, because while your display will show frames faster than lesser monitors, with poor response times, you get ghosting. I have experienced what equates to next to 0 perceivable ghosting on this monitor, which is very impressive for an IPS. People who say you cant tell 360hz over 240hz are completely and totally wrong. The difference is bigger than you think. The IPS is bright, gorgeous, and accurate. I am thrilled. There isnt a better 1440p monitor for competitive play (not even OLED). Pricey, but good.

First let's get this out of the way, I was almost deterred by the dead pixel police but I think they are missing the point. This monitors motion clarity, color, brightness, responsiveness, and quality are on another level. I have owned or currently own the LGC2, the 175 hz ultrawide Acer predator x38, the 240 HZ BenQ Zowie, and the 270 hz 1440p Asus xg27aqm. Gaming on this is completely different. The combination of motion clarity and color vibrance is just nuts. I went into Apex Legends and I could feel the change from my other monitors to this one immediately. I do not think mine had any dead pixels, I dunno, because it turns out a pixel is really really small. If you got the hardware to drive it, upgrade from HD to 1440p and leave your dated TN panels behind. Yes the 240 HZ oleds have a faster GTG, but that doesn't mean they have the best input lag, that has to do with other image processing elements beginning from the cable and ending at ur display. This is faster than OLEDs for total display latency and about 2.5 times brighter. If you are sweaty, this is your new home.
I was very excited to use this monitor - while the motion clarity and colours are great, I found that the panel uniformity was disappointing. On the top left and right areas of the screen it's slightly darker. While this isn't noticeable in games, it's definitely noticeable on the desktop. Given this is one of the most expensive monitors you can buy, you shouldn't be expecting that kind of flaw. IPS glow is also somewhat noticeable too if you have a dark desktop background.This was also my first 27" monitor, coming from a 24" 1080p display. I can say without a doubt that 1080p 24" is way more comfortable in comparison. Even on 25" mode, I still preferred 24" especially on the desktop. You don't try other monitors next to it. Originally I purchased the asus 27QN which I was extremely happy with until I saw it had a dead pixel. Before returning the 27QN I ordered and received the AQN. I wanted to see if there was a justification for the price difference. When I tried them side by side I noticed that the AQN panel has slightly better color than the QN at the same/close to settings. The QN also looks more washed out next to the AQN. Picture smoothness is comparable. In the end I kept the AQN because I wanted the better looking monitor. Had I not tried the two monitors side by side I would have been happy with the QN.AQN calibration out of the box is on point.

Title says it all. There isn't another monitor on the market that can touch this for esports. The only real competitor is the LG OLED 27" and its motion clarity is not as good, nor is it better for esports. It's close though. If you are a variety gamer, get the OLED, if you main FPS games, the Asus is the clear winner.
