I use a controlled release fertiliser but when I want to give the lawn a quick green up (before and event etc) this is my go to. It is like sugar for lawns. Excellent to get them green and pumping during the growing season.

I've used this, several times. WHEN USED AS DIRECTED, I've found that it produces a nice, thick, lush green lawn, within a week, or so. In my opinion/experience - DON'T OVER-APPLY and WATER IN WELL after application. Also, AVOID applying during prolonged hot, dry, sunny, weather (to avoid burning the grass). I've found that this lawn fertiliser does the job of considerably more expensive alternatives (compare the ingredients lists to see why!).

To put it in perspective I am a hort. by training and I am one of those with a gold green for a front lawn. However, I never use just one fertiliser 12 months of the year. My stock fertilisers are hort specific fertilisers such as Brandt Noculate Complete or Andersons Nutri DG. But, occasionally you need a quick stock nitrogen/ potassium hit. And, this does that just perfectly. Would I use it 12 months of the year? No. But, I have to fertilise 9 times per year and spray liquid ferts every fortnight. However, for the humble home-owner, I would look for a base fertiliser with some phosphorus, but this fertiliser would be ideal for a "green up" hit. Used in conjunction with a more general fertiliser.
My Buffalo lawn was wilted and dying in patches, had to water twice a day to barely keep it alive, leaves turning grey and thin, thought it could be disease, but I gave this fertiliser a go before starting buying expensive fungicide.Within a day, my lawn improved dramatically, bright green colour, broad healthy leaves, dead patches are self healing and growing back. With less than $5 my Buffalo lawn is great again.
For $5, I knew I was taking a chance on this product, given that the next cheapest fertiliser was about $20. I made sure I followed the instructions; make sure the grass is wet before application, then wet in well after - and the results were fantastic. My lawn is growing at a phenomenal rate, and looks better than ever. I am very pleased with the value i received in this product.
Cheap stuff. Very low iron, but OK for the price. Stresses lawn as it's short term boost.
Best stuff I have ever purchasedValue for money and works fast and great coverage. The person that gave it a bad review should have watered in properlyGoing out this morning to buy more for the rest of my lawn
I usually use Shirley’s No17 each year but it now so expensive so tried this a week ago. It is very good and lawn is now more lush and green with runners taking off too
Terrible product. Used it 4 months ago and it was good. Just used it again and this time it has killed our expensive lawn. Different formulation ?Really poor form for an Australian company.Stunning that a lawn fertilizer can actually kill your lawn. And yes it was watered in well, including also being applied just before a big storm.
