This is the best hose reel combo I have ever bought. I’m 75 so have had several over my lifetime !! So pleased to have spent a bit extra and got something that really works for me. Well done Gardena on a great design.

First I bought one for one end of the yard, then a few months later another for the other end! Great quality, winds up nice, but look up as you get near the end of winding in to avoid hose whiplash to the noggin!

I have since discovered that they are different qualities. I've only had this for a couple of weeks but I can say it's so much better than the Hozelock that it replaced. It feels sturdy and well made and the guide that helps winding the hose back in is great. Would recommend!
Fantastic reel & hose that has overcome all the issues with my previous Hozelok equivalent. The hose does not kink and reeling in the hose is simple with the clever roll spindle and the kick lock foot. An excellent product that overcomes the historical issues associated with reel and hose combinations.
Unless your property is dead flat and smooth and you never pull this along faster than a 90 year old with 2 new hips it’s all good. Any faster or over uneven ground then it will tip over. Otherwise for storing a hose in one position and never taking it anywhere then it is great.
Very stable and easy to use. The way it has been designed also allows us to retract back very easily.
Good dispenser, solid and functional. Stable on grass and foldable for storage. You can also clip the small water inlet hose once it is disconnected (on the false male contact on the side. However, the tap nose on the hose reel is unscrewed by unrolling the hose. The hose must be connected water inlet after unwinding the garden hose. A hose diam 15 would be preferable to the supplied diameter 13 which can come out of its guide because it is too thin, so I remove a star.
