My wife recently purchased the Gardena Clever Roll Hose Trolley for me - it is easy to put together and well constructed. The roller guide makes rolling up the hose so easy. A simple idea that works exceptionally well. Absolutely worth the money.

I bought this a month ago for the backyard and was so happy with that I bought another one for the hose in the front garden. So easy to use and wind up with the roller guide. You just need to be careful that you have the reel facing the right direction when unwinding or you can knock the reel stand over. Quality design and product. Am very happy with and would recommend.
We’ve had the Gardena hose trolley about 8 weeks and it’s got rid of the frustration of jammed twisted garden hose. The hose feeder is excellent and the trolley is easy to move round the garden. I find I have to pull out the hose first then attach the connecting hose to tap otherwise it gets twisted but winding in is quick and easy. The product is reasonably sturdy although it will still tip over if hose is pulled from the wrong angle. Assembly was easy tho the spindle for the hose feeder was broken at assembly so we had to get another trolley sent to Mitre 10. Interestingly it came overnight where we had waited weeks for it after ordering online. It is an expensive product.
Broke after 6 months.Handle broke off and being plastic, can nor be repaired.Guild wheel locks up all the time also.Great idea, but not worth the money, sorry
I'm a big fan of gardena. It started with the water timers how reliable they are then i bought this to keep the hose tidy rather than coiled on the ground. What a good decision that was, its just so simple to water the plants now without the hassle of kinks in the hose.
I purchased this product approx 12mths ago. It does the trick..... sort of! The build quality is not great and the cart itself is not overly sturdy. It may be a reasonable solution for a small yard and a short hose but not anything beyond that. The wind handle has now broken off, rendering the reel completely useless. Even before that, the cart would topple over when extending the hose and it would struggle to wind in 30m+ of hose when fully extended because of the strain on the guide wheel. At the price, I would not recommend.
By far the best hose reel I've owned. We have multiple hoses around our property and this one is the Rolls Royce of all. Wish I'd known about them years ago. Worth every dollar, don't skimp and buy something because it's cheaper.
