I’ve been with the Garmin Epix Pro for about a week now, and it is amazing. I came over from the Epix Gen 2, which was also a great watch. I asked myself, am I crazy for upgrading in such a short time? Well maybe, but I’m a sucker for having the best. And the upgrade in the battery life is what sold me. That and the handy flashlight, which is more useful than you’d think. I’m looking to get into ultramarathons and knowing I won’t have to worry about this model dying on me is what pushed me over the edge. If you’re lucky for the best watch on the market, this is it!

Had the Epix2 and upgraded to Epix 2 Pro after dropping my 4 month old Epix 2 in the shower and it froze and stopped working. Garmin was very helpful and understanding (both of us confused how dropping it could break it…). The Pro is the same but the new flashlight and better heart rate sensor do make a significant upgrade to an already EPIC watch. Only thing is that i really wish they had the grey color with light titanium bezel like my Epix 2…Pro only offered is white or black. I got black but liked my grey/titanium color a lot more on the Epix 2…

I am going on week two with the 51mm carbon grey sapphire epix pro. My expectations were understandably high with the high price tag attached to it. They were exceeded. With the bright 1.4” amoled in gesture mode I get 31 days between charges! I am going for GPS enabled activities 5-10 hours a week, using the flashlight, smartphone notifications enabled, and it’s tracking to last me a month. Coming from a smartwatch that was getting 18 hours between charges, this is amazing. Pair that with garmin’s health metrics they track & I have never been happier. It’s like my fenix 7X used to be with even better battery & the amoled! It’s… perfect. Couldn’t be happpier!

I upgraded from Fenix 6 to Epix pro 51mm sapphire. I had my Fenix 47mm for several years and enjoyed it a lot! I am very happy with Epix upgrade. Screen is much nicer and the battery life if really good. It definitely feels more premium experience than Fenix. I also like the new features and metrics. Size is fine and I actually prefer larger display. It’s easier to read and use touch controls. I love the flash light feature! It’s very helpful at night to have it on your wrist.
Got the watch a week ago and haven’t taken it off. I love the size and feel on my wrist. 51mm feels great. Out using the features each and every day. The screens are so bright and easy to read and use. Gamin epix has it over all smartwatch …I have the Fenix 6 Pro Solar and the Epix is a huge upgrade. Interface works really smoothly. It you want the best got pay to get it and I did.
Garmin Epix Pro 51mm. Stunning screen bright es, colors, and resolution. It is visible in all conditions, even in bright sunlight. With Always On Display on the battery is easily more than 10 days. That is unbelievable for OLED screen. Looks nice and premium materials. There could be some improvements in the next version: 64GB memory would be great to store entire world maps for offline use as right now with 32GB only 2 continents can be installed. It would also give more space for music. Weather app has added excellent rain map with animation but the basic weather info needs an update as it is slow to update and doesn’t have greater accuracy. Also, please add LTE, even if it ia only for basic texting as microphone is tricky to build waterproof. All in all an ... MoreGarmin Epix Pro 51mm. Stunning screen bright es, colors, and resolution. And most standout feature that is extremely useful is LED flashlight. Just awesome.
I upgraded from a fenix 6 pro, and have not regretted it.The screen is amazing, and still very good in direct sunlight.A few tweaks to the settings, and the battery life is great as well (take always~on off, brightness at setting 2, enable sleep mode when you’re in bed) and all is good (I don’t use spo tracking).Indicating 31 days life when fully charged - one tracked one hour walk every day and an hour and a half’s run every other day, and the battery lasts……easily enough for an ultra.Very happy.
I really like the OLED display on this watch. It makes early morning runs and inside workouts much easier to see. The features on this watch are very nice, including: Morning reports, better HR, much longer battery life (over 20 days with pulseOX on at night), touch screen and many more. The watch setup was a breeze, and it actually got onto my 2.4 GHZ wifi (not 5GHZ), and updates its own SW. Added my pro HRM, as well as my wired gear (Running glasses with HUD and swimming goggles with HUD). Overall, a great upgrade for me. I got the silver bezel, as I think it wears well. I wish that the body was a little darker, but it's ok. Finally, I do wish that the watch was a little more aware of when I move my wrist to show the time.
Epix 2 Pro Sapphire - we've had these new watches a few days now. I'll have to say, these are a monumental leap forward coming to these from our old Fenix 5 watches. The display and features are off the charts to the good. The feel on the wrist is much better than the old watches. Both my wife and I are really impressed with these and highly reccomend them.
Order first day available. ( 51mm, sapphire, white). Simply stunning screen, apple friends jealous. Order black band. With the white looks nautical. Do not need all the functions but nice to know they are there. Beauty and quality exudes. You know you want one, just do it.
