Replaced my 20 year old fish-finder with this Garmin model & very happy with it. Compared to my old outdated one its comparable to going from an old B&W tube TV to a modern Ultra 4K HD TV. I first purchased the 5” model but exchanged for the 7” to see better with my aging eyes.

Great unit. The swivel bracket and tilt works great, makes adjusting the unit to where you need it very easy. All the features work great and seem quite accurate, easy to use, very clear to view screen night and day light, great menu and user friendly. IN my opinion the absolute best full features easy to use fish finder on the market today, so many feature for a unit under $500.

Love the STRIKER fish finder. Holds bottom at 20 mph (as fast as the pontoon will go) easy to read graphics. Intuitive menu system. I love that the gimbla mount swivels to get it out of the sun or to see feom other parts of the boat.

This Fish finder works great. It was easy to install and came with everything that we needed to hook it up. It was easy to set up and I love how clear the picture is. We have had some other models before that did not work great, but this one is great. We can read it even in the middle of the day. The only thing I wish was that the power cable was a little longer. I had to use a little bit of extra wire to reach my battery. With out spending a lot of money this is one of the best fish finders We have ever owned.
Fishfinder was easy to set up on my yak and worked without any issues on the first go. Does everything it says it does. Good sized screen and bright display. Paired with the BerkelyPro visor, display was still easy to see when the sun was high.
Bought this to use on the ice and on open water from a boat. I work for a marina and have multiple boats I can use it on. The portable kit for $100 is excellent. The picture and features on this model are superb. Far better than other brands I have used. I would highly recommend this!
Well to be fair, I've only used it twice but so far I am not impressed. I've gone through all settings and tried everything I can think of but seem to have a recurring problem. 1st, the fish finder doesn't like to work in shallow weedy water. It will not mark consistent depth and the image breaks up constantly. 2nd no matter know much adjustment I've made, I cannot run at any more than 5mph or I lose depth.
It is not what I asked for! I asked for a combination chart plotter and depth sounder and the salesman said that it was. I had installed it got it all set up and to my surprise it’s only a depth sounder. Waisted my 500 bucks plus tax.
I have had this unit for over a month now and it is great easy to set up with clear instructions. Yes it does not come with a built in map but the quickdraw works better than any map I have ever seen. Quickdraw comes in handy on smaller bodies of water that are not mapped. The fishfinder work flawless and the clearview is amazing i can now see the trees in 50ft of water and the fish in the branches.
This says track plotter which confuses people looking for a plotter.This only tracks you if you put in your waypoints.There is no installed maps, no option to install maps, no way to have maps unless you enter each and every part yourself.Basically map the whole lake yourself.There is a very poor quality wire connection on these units.If you have to keep removing the head unit from the boat to avoid theft, you will shortly damage these connections form the removal and reinstall process
