Garnier Nutrisse Hair Colour 6.60 Fiery Red

First time using this colour, first of all it mixed really well and was pretty easy to apply....after the recommended time was of fairly easy but the water never ran clear as stated, the conditioner is amazing and makes your hair really soft afterwards. It wasn't as bright as I thought but I have naturally dark hair and it still makes a massive difference. The smell is quite strong but no overpowering. I would highly recommend this product and will definitely buy again.

Disappointed

I loved the colour of the dye as soon as I seen it in store. I purchased a box! Few days later I dyed my hair.....Well after I rinsed and towel dried my hair and took a look into the mirror I was horrified the colour on top was amazing but for some reason the bottom of my hair was still blonde. I have short hair it's above shoulder length so one bottle should have been enough. I've used Garnier products many times and never had this issue so the next day I purchased another box and did the bottom part that didn't take. After rinsing I finally was happy with the outcome, Then 3 days later I washed my hair in cool warm practically cold something I always do after dying my hair helps keep the colour longer I find..... Here is some advice.

When I mixed the color in the bottle, it turned up pastel orange. I shook it like mad and it was still orange. My hair was bleached light blonde and although I wasn’t aware it wasn’t the best choice for me, it turned out fine.When I applied it, it remained pastel orange but after smothering my hair with a plastic cap, I managed to get a pretty light burgundy.I was hoping for something more subtle but who am I kidding? I’d stand out regardless. Oh, and at night, wrap that hair or your pillow will look like a toddlers finger painting. good luck girls !

I don't hate it, but i don't love it

I received this hair colour from #TopBoxCircle for free in return of an honest review #freeproductI haven't coloured my hair in almost three years so i was very super excited to try out this hair colour especially because i absolutely love this deep lilac colour and wanted to change up my colour to something more fun (although i do know that "your" hair will never always look like the models hair on the boxes) but still i gave it a try. I do like the colour because at least it didn't turn my hair too dark or black like other store bought purple hair colours i've tried in the past (i'm probably going to say this has been my favourite out of the other ones i've tried) i just wished it would of been more purple without making my hair too dark.The process of colouring my hair with this hair dye was very easy and straight forward with the instructions and timing it to let the colour develop, and the smell was good not overly strong and my hair did feel nice and thick and healthy after colouring.I think i would definitely give it another try (maybe if i have lighter hair it will show up to be more of what i expected the colour to be?) I would recommend this colour to friends with maybe lighter hair colours (such as blonde, brownish/blonde or light brown) because i think the colour would really show up like the models hair on the box or almost like it.Overall, i did enjoy testing this out this hair colour and i love that Garnier is trying to come out with fun colours for us people with darker hair that do not want to bleach our hair, i'm definitely looking forward to checking what other colours Garnier has in this line for darker hair.

Mixed feelings about results

I was a lightest natural brown and ready for a change. Usually go lighter in the summer and that was the plan... Til I saw and fell in love with this color! I did a strand test because I knew it was going to be a drastic change and immediately did my whole head after I saw the beautiful result. The mixture was a shade of apricot. Once it was applied, it was turning my skin a very bright redish/pink and scared me when I couldn't get it off (neck/ears/temple) I probably only left it on maybe 20 mins as I was anxious and a bit worried. I rinsed for almost half an hour before I went and asked my bf for help. We rinsed another 20 mins or so and water was still rinsing bright pink. It was a dark burgundy just like the box!!! I got a ton of compliments the first time I went out in public and vowed to stay this shade for awhile...But it's already faded so much in just one week that I'm already considering dyeing it again...The top of my head is a deeper red, but definitely not the burgundy result of last week. My "baby hairs" on my hairline are kinda goldfish red. And the ends of my hair look like a faded out brownish red. The shine is a great shade of deep red.I expected fading but not so suddenly. And also not so unevenly after such a beautiful even first result.I washed it 3x this past week, using Garnier fructis color shield.

Seriously disappointed

I bought this today to do something different with my light brown hair and seeing as the box showed a change with dark brown, I thought I was in the good. Turns out I was so wrong, my hair is exactly the same color it was when I started, no change in lighting makes a difference. I will never purchase this again. Yes I am aware I could've bleached it but when the box shows at least a small change there was no point. Avoid this at all costs, waste of time and money

So annoyed and disappointed

Mad at myself for not reading the reviews first. This color is nothing like what the box showed. My copper/auburn hair is now this ugly cherry burgundy color. So unflattering. I cannot wait to wash my hair again and try to fade this out. Do not buy this expecting to have bronze/copper/auburn color. Loved this other Garnier copper color that got discontinued. I might have to go pay to have this color fixed. So disappointed I wasted my time and money on this. This ruined my hair color. I cannot believe this is so bad, I want to cry.

Turned My Hair Dark Burgandy, NOT Purple

Turned my natural dark brown hair to a burgandy, reddish brown, NOT vibrant purple as indicated on the box. It is advertised as being effective for dark hair and while it did colour my hair (darker), it did not come out purple at all. There are some plum undertones if you really look for them but hardly. In the sunlight, my hair is just burgandy brown.I understand that the colour representation on the box won't necessarily be exact since it depends on your hair, but this product is advertised as being effective on dark hair. It should at least be noted that the colour as shown will truly only turn up on brightly bleached hair. Worst Color Experience

I had used Garnier products for years. Sadly, I had to switch colors three different times because of obvious formula changes. Instead of a deep auburn, they started turning my hair a carrot orange as it faded. The last switch was a deep burgundy that produced a blue based burgundy.... which was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, that formula was messed with so I quit using Garnier for the past 2 years until I saw the BR1 Deepest Intense Burgundy in the store. The color came out of the bottle an apricot color and the end results was my roots having a carrot orange color and the ends a orange-tinted red color. What a disaster! At this point, I'm not sure if I can trust the folks who are responsible to formulate their colors.
