This wand is incredibly hot...it is also very long, much longer than I was expecting. I have jaw length hair and I would say you need long hair in order to use this 'safely.' (And someone to help). I was looking through a mirror in order to style my hair and it being the first time of use I was finding it difficult to sort which way my hair needed to be and where the wand needed to be etc. The wand came with a heat-protection 'glove'. I then tried to hold the wand straight down with the lead at the top (too long and too top heavy) but I could feel the intense heat actually rising up and heating my 'unprotected' hand, so way too uncomfortable to sustain. By now I was more than wary of, and scared of the intense heat and the zero protection provided by this wand and so I returned it. Did I receive a 'faulty ' one which was heating way too hot? Who knows. But following my experience I cannot recommend it nor do I know how it passed health and safety standards .

I’ve never had much success with curling tools before. However I find this thin wand really easy to use. I have thick shoulder length hair so it takes a little time but the results are worth it. For tight curls wrap a thin section of hair for looser curls a thicker section. Hair doesn’t need to be held against wand for long for curl to form. Glove is needed so you don’t burn your hand when curling ends. Sometimes I just curl the top layer if I have scrunched my hair and worn it natural the day before.

I recently bought this curling tool and it has been SUCH a great purchase! I have quite fine, thin hair that is mid-long in length and it can sometimes feel a bit dull. I already love my other curve wand to create sleek waves but I was looking to try a new look so went for the thin wand. It is so quick to use as you hold the hair for a shorter amount of time and the results are amazing. I suggest using your fingers to separate the curls once done or perhaps a wide tooth comb but NOT a brush. The end result is big bouncy sexy hair that lasts for days. Mine lasted for 5 days- before I washed it and it still looked effortlessly gorgeously wavy

This wand is great for creating perfect tight spirals, or tighter waves. It’s very creative and flexible but it has only one heat setting. For those who don’t want to burn their hair this is conflict. If the want had a few more heat settings it would be perfect.
I have bought every wand, tong, barrel and curler tool there is. Only one has worked but didn’t give as many twists in the curl as I wanted. The curve thin wand works! Don’t be put off thinking 80’s perm. Easy to use only one setting and the curls hold for days! It doesn’t fry my hair and is relatively easy from the first attempt onwards. From straight, curl and leave till your hair cools then brush or run fingers with product on. Love it 🥰

The wand heated rod is about 18mm diameter.It's easy to hold. Pretty light. Simple to turn and off at the press of a button.I have shoulder length and medium weight hair.I used this both on myself and my daughter and we were equally impressed.
