I have used this a few times now and gets easier each time. The main thing that slows me down is not being great at sectioning my hair, you need to do small sections for the best result. I never thought it would be possible for me to ditch my hairdryer until I tried the Duet Style. My hair normally takes about 40 minutes in total to dry and straighten but this is a game changer! The styling oil has a pleasant smell and non-greasy. As the plates are wide, they hold a good amount of hair which helps with speed of drying and straightening. The Duet is beautifully styled with a generous power lead so you are not getting tangled. The set includes a stylish hard case for storage, which looks very sleek if on display. Turn on and ready to use in seconds, performs to a high standard saving time like no other product I have used before. My hair looks silky smooth and lasts between washes. Very happy and worth every penny.

However this styler leaves It’s so straight that I actually wouldn’t need to straighten it afterwards. I do however then use the shine shot, which has made my hair feel a lot smoother and softer. Also my hair stays straight for a few days. My only concern using this product is how hot my hair feels to touch, so hair protection is a must, also because of the heat I don’t think I would want to use the styler all the time, just for special occasions or maybe on holiday as you would only need to pack one item.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first that it would work with my frizzy thick hair but it is a game changer and I am left with dry straight hair, with more of a natural ‘puff’ to it rather than being poker straight with the straighteners. I did find I had to make sure my hair was very well towelled dry before use and holding the styler at the top of the hair for a few seconds really helps. The styler feels lighter (and quieter) than a hair dryer in my opinion and really easy to use. Definitely quicker than my usual hair drying then straightening regime.
