I really like GHD products and have reviewed a few on here. I purchased this brush for blowouts and I bought this size because it was recommended for long hair. When it arrived, I opened it to make sure it looked ok and then I set it aside. By the time I used it the return date had sadly passed. This is a very good brush as far as actually getting all of your hair - a lot of brushes miss some finer or shorter hairs- and keeping the perfect amount of tension. It doesn’t tangle my very fine hair- another major plus! It’s just a size too big, so it doesn’t curl the ends or do anything really. The handle is a little uncomfortable to hold on to as well because it’s so slim. I’m uncertain at this time if I’m going to order one size smaller. I haven’t found anything better ... MoreI really like GHD products and have reviewed a few on here. I do recommend this round brush in your correct size because it has more pros than cons and the bristles are very good!

This is my 3rd large brush I have bought in the past 4 to 5 years.I took it on holiday with a medium size brush which I use for my fringe and I am thankful I did!The bristles burnt right down within less than 5 blow drys and I have used the same technique of blow drying for years.I will be returning the brush when I get home.I hope this was from a bad batch!!Based on this brush alone I would not recommend to anyone but based on the 1 small 1 medium and 2 large I have had in the past I would definitely recommend.

Decent brush

It’s a decent brush, however if you’re not an “expert” in blow drying you might need to practice a bit to get used to it. It is a sturdy and good quality brush, however the bristles are not my favourite. I kind of wish I had gone to a cheaper option because I ended up not using it too often. I also can see why people would complain about the handle, it can be hard on your arm as the head of the brush is kind of ‘heavy’ and combined with a thinner handle it can be uncomfortable.

Don't Hesitate ... !!
28 October 2022

I've been working to grow out bangs for five months now ... NOT easy. How to style my hair changes with each passing month. Up to now, I had always used the same drug store type hair styling brushes until coming across an article all about natural bristle brushes. Very happy I found the GHD natural bristle round brush - I have tossed out all my old brushes. It didn't take me long to get used to the shape and weight of the handle, just took a little practice. I love that my hair does not get tangled in the barrel or the handle of the brush. The end result is really nice with far less effort ... not to mention, no more "tug of war" with a styling brush - my hair is happy!!

Why or why didnt I treat myself to this years ago Love it I have short strong stubborn hair. This glides through the hair, no snagging. Lovely long handle so easier to manage for those blow dries where you need to twist and turn the handle. Excellent root lift now. Was so impressed immediately treated myself to the No. 1 version, which is perfect for my fringe. All in all I have achieved better blow dries with these products. Just wish I had bought them years ago, would have saved many a heartache. Also comes in a lovely presentation box, so would be an ideal gift.

Great brush end, handle needs a lot of improvement

TL;DR: There is no need to spend this much money on a brush. You will not be getting an experience that is better than one you can get with a much less dear one.Holds hair really well, however, it is is not the easiest to hold as the handle is unusually thin in diameter and smooth. It doesn't seem as thin in the pics, but in hand it is a lot thinner than any other brush I've ever had. It has a very subtle rubbery feel but no texture (no grips) so it is really easy to drop. You have to hold on tight with a very closed hand to ensure you don't drop it and to pull through each stroke (which takes considerable force as it holds hair quite well). Turning and rolling at the ends is made harder than it should be because of this. You have to work hard not to let it slip. ... MoreTL;DR: There is no need to spend this much money on a brush. It would not be suitable for anyone with weak hands, large hands or even semi poor dexterity. I have none of these things and struggle with it.Now, it is the most beautiful brush I've ever seen - sleek! matte! gorgeous! - and the box it comes in is lovely. Even with the handle issue I get happy when I see it because I care way too much about these things. I mean, I still keep it in the box! (Seek help; I know).Seems like there was a good deal more emphasis put on aesthetic design than on user experience, which is not good design in the end. No reason they couldn't have achieved both here. Maybe I should send them this review. It's the longest one I've written in my life!

HAND FATIGUE!
29 April 2023

Long handle but it is rather thin which gives hand fatigue easily as it is hard to grasp. Als, the bristles are on the sparse and low-profile side so doesn’t allow for a taught pull to produce a sleek blowout. The bristle are rather stiff as well. And, hair gets caught where the handle meets the barrel as they are two pieces screwed together. No comparison to my Christophe Robin brushes!

Radial brush
18 January 2023

I bought a size 3 radial ceramic brush ar the end of December. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size. I wasn't sure how to measure the brush size, so only had the photo's on the website as a guide. I should have ordered size 2. I think it would be helpful to have a measuring guide diagram which shows where to measure the brush, then I wouldn't have had to return it and order the correct size. It has just wasted time, postage and been a tad frustrating really. Just to say, there was nothing wrong with the quality of the brush - just the sizing issue was annoying.

Recommended by my stylist!
4 March 2022

I have been suffering with hair loss due to Folliculitis and my hair has thinned considerably. I commented to my new hair stylist that I'd been finger drying my hair to avoid too much pulling of my hair using my present brushes which were not GHD brushes but ceramic vented. I was only finishing off my styling with them. She used this brush to style my hair after a cut and colour and my hair never got tangled up in the brush. She suggested I bought a size 2 which I did. Very happy with it and have thrown away my old brushes!
